WEEK STARTING MONDAY THE 30TH OF MARCH

MONDAY THE 30TH OF MARCH

A cool  morning with a drop of rain when we started at 6am. We have John Nolans coming to earmark pups and mark hounds up in to their identity book. We need meat as we are preparing early for the easter weekend. At the kennels we have more swapping around to do with pups , saplings and kennel dogs and their is also a hound to deliver that is sold in Ireland. On this weeks greyhound star British performance of the week we have two hounds on this weeks list Tiffield Tarquin at Romford and Swift Depot at Yarmouth. The two write ups  below are taken from the greyhound star

At Romford, there was another exceptional run from Tiffield Tarquin. He has a perfect 6/6 record at the track in 2026, adding a Hove win to his record for good measure back in February. 34.63 is the quickest time that he has stopped the clock which makes him the 11th fastest ever around the 575m distance.

Elsewhere in the East, it was time for another solid performance from Swift Depot at Yarmouth. The former track record holder got his head in front for the first time since November. He has won four straight three times in his career as well as rattling off a hat-trick on two occasions, so now that he has got his head back in front, he is the type to add to that quickly.
