MONDAY THE 23RD OF MARCH
Another dry day but it was cool. Newcastle united were terrible yesterday against Sunderland and we need major changes in the summer. At the kennels we had the vet here doing passport work we have been changing beds in the rearing paddocks , trimming nails and worming hounds. We have broods in season so we will have to sort stud dogs out. I had bits and pieces to collect today but most of my day was spent in hospital getting my bloods done and getting a check up after my operation last year and everything was 100 percent.
TUESDAY THE 24TH OF MARCH
The first job tomorrow is a trip to the vets to get the tonsils done in a hound and another one blood checked. I need a alternator for the 202 van. I have the paperwork to post off. Muzzles to collect and all the waste has to go to the dump. At the kennels we will get the last of the beds changed in the rearing paddocks , the last of the worming and nails trimming of the hounds that live in the rearing paddocks. We have a delivery coming from red mills. We have hounds leaving for the UK that are sold leaving with Darragh Ryan and as normal he picks them up from the yard.

WEDNESDAY THE 25TH OF MARCH
We had a storm overnight but its now a nice day with no chance of rain but a bit cool. We are going to prepare more hounds for schooling which will take best part of the day, there is fish to collect and the last of the beds in the rearing paddock to change and the hounds in the rearing paddocks will be wormed and nails trimmed.

THURSDAY THE 26TH OF MARCH
The plans for Thursday. There is broods to go to droopys stud that are in season. We need muzzles and I got a faulty alternator for the 202 van so that will have to go back to the shop. We will have to be fed up early for the main job of the day trialing in Kilkenny and the very first job is to pack the fish away that I collected late on Wednesday evening.
FRIDAY THE 27TH OF MARCH
WHATEVER HAPPENS ON SUNDAY MORNING I WILL PUT UP THE OPEN RUNNERS AND WINNERS ON TO THE WEEKLY JOURNAL
The first job on Friday morning was to collect factory meat and tripe from northern Ireland and there was also Kasco dog food to collect. At the kennels we changed beds wormed pups and trimmed their nails and gave them their first and second injections. The weather was on and off rain and Swift Vicky who lives in the house with me was a little bit of colour.
SATURDAY THE 28TH OF MARCH
Its been a nice day but I couldn’t believe it we got up to frost. There was more meat to collect and all the waste had to go to the dump. At the kennels we put young pups into the rearing yards and also put bigger pups into the rearing paddocks. We got the Kasco to pack in to the garage as I got back late last night with it. We have hounds that are sold leaving for the UK with Darragh Ryan.
SUNDAY THE 29TH OF MARCH
The plan for Sunday is to tidy the website up , do all the paperwork and make all the lists for the coming week. We will do a tidy up around the yard and whatever happens give my house a tidy
