MONDAY THE 1ST OF JUNE
I DID NOT DO THE OPEN RACE RUNNERS AFTER MONDAY OF LAST WEEK WHAT EVER HAPPENS I WILL GET BACK TO NORMAL THIS WEEK
Its a bank holiday monday in Ireland today but a normal day at the kennels I got all the work done on my two vans at the weekend timing belts serviced and any little thing they needed and I also sold the 2020 van. We are getting the hounds checked that are schooling, we are also changing beds in the kennels. We have hounds leaving for the UK that are sold with Darren Ryan . and the main job of the day is getting the posts holes dug at the front of the last three rearing paddocks all going well we will have all the work finished on the rearing paddocks by the weekend . On this week greyhound star British performance of the week we have one hound on the list Too Wright at Yarmouth.
NO THE OPEN RACE SENCE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT ODRAN, SHELT HILL ROSIE AND SWIFT KIPPER.
TUESDAY THE 2ND OF JUNE
A wet day and very heavy rain overnight . Im off to the vets with three hounds to get there tonsils out. We need all our waste away a load of supplies to order . and also a load of bits and pieces to collect . At the kennels we will continue on with the fencing job on the last three front of the rearing paddocks .and also get the vans washed The two write ups below are taking from to day greyhound star about our two open race winners at Nottingham last night.
Swift Kipper continued her excellent form for Terry Munslow with a 500m success. The absolute pick of her form had been over 480m to this point but she is finding that level over the longer trip now to supplement her wins. She has now won eight of her last 10 starts.
Lynn Cook had a wide-margin winner with Swift Odran who ran his rivals ragged in a puppy contest. His winning run in graded company came to a halt at three last time out when finishing second in an A1 but he quickly regained the winning thread. An August 24 son of King Elvis, there are a couple of others in the litter who look pretty decent as well.

WEDNESDAY THE 3RD OF JUNE
A long night as swift broom had her pups 14 in total to Jacktavern Jim .Mother and pups doing fantastic we are putting pups 7 with her for 30 minutes and then the second 7 pups with her for 30 minutes she had the first pup 7.17 pm on Tuesday night and the last pup at4.50pm on Wednesday night and all the pups are a live. We have a foster mother who will have to rear part of the litter .We need meat as well and we have heavy rain all morning so it will limit what we can do .
THURSDAY THE 4TH OF JUNE
A mix day of weather and the day has gone well as normal there was bits of pieces of supplies to collect from the cash and carry , the vets , the hardware and we also needed carpet to make beds for mothers and pups. We got a delivery of time dog food and the main job of the day was trialing in Kilkenny

FRIDAY THE 5TH OF JUNE
We didnt do the journal on Friday as I day tripped to England. At the kennels, the concrete arrived to do the posts at the front of the last three rearing paddocks. We were at the Dunphys collecting more broods that had been mated. As normal there was loads of bits and pieces to collect. The day went well.

SATURDAY THE 6TH OF JUNE
As we do the journal at 7am, we have just had a delivery of Red Mills. I was back from England at 10pm last night. We need meat and tripe as we havent got a bag left. Another brood is having pups. If everything goes well we will prepare more hounds for schooling.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT ROMFORD SWIFTY DO IT . TONIGHT WE HAVE EIGHT RUNNERS AT YARMOUTH CHARLIE LOVES ME. AT CENTRAL PARK SWIFT FACTOR , DEVONSHIRE ACE , EARLS JOKER , SWIFT DALLAS AND SWIFT BREE.
SUNDAY THE 7TH OF JUNE
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will also get caught up with paperwork.
