Its a bank holiday Monday in southern Ireland today but it was a normal day at the kennels. The day got off to a good start as we got a hound retirement home as he was not suitable for racing. I had to go for meat and we got the vans washed changed all the beds in all the kennels and the garden paddocks houses as well . We did a major tidy up as the weather was good . On this weeks greyhound star British performance of the week we have one hound on this weeks list swift silly at Sheffield who did the second fastest time of the year yesterday over the 500m. Newcastle united was second best against Man city in the FA cup and we are a long way away from being a top team in the premiership.
