MONDAY THE 11TH OF MAY
We trialed in Kilkenny. The vet was here and did passport work, I have ordered a load of supplies, we had a delivery of red mills and I had the mechanic here to confirm that I will need new engine in the 202 van so I think it’s best to buy a new van. On this week greyhound star British performance of the week we have two hounds on this weeks list Swift Kipper at Nottingham and Swift Ripple at the Valley.

TUESDAY THE 12TH OF MAY
A dry day but a bit colder. We got all our waste away, we have John Nolans coming to earmark pups. I had my first viewer to see the 202 van which is now for sale for €2000. We need a service kit for the 191 van. We have a paper work to post off, hounds to name and i have also got to meet Darragh Ryan with the hounds that are sold going to the UK.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT KIPPER.
WEDNESDAY THE 13TH OF MAY
A cooler day and a busy day. We will be doing the last preparation work with our March 2025 saplings ready for Kilkenny on Monday. We need a load of bits and pieces as normal and I am going to start a hunt for a new van. We will do a bit tidy up and that will be as much as we can do today.
THURSDAY THE 14TH OF MAY
We had a mix day of weather and then my disaster started I went to see a van a 2023 one with no miles original paint work and it was like a brand new and drove like a brand new van. Came home and couldn’t be happier, set away on Friday morning at 5am and didn’t get to Kildare and the engine blow up so the garage I bought it off are on the way out with the recovery truck.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT AT HOVE SWIFT MEGAN AT MONMORE CHARLIE LOVES ME, DARLEYS PANTHER, ALWAYS WRIGHTY AND SWIFT YOUNGSTER.
FRIDAY THE 15TH OF MAY
We are making boxes and beds for mother and pups, we also have the plumber coming to fix a couple of leaks and do some more bits and pieces. We have meat and tripe to collect but my main job is getting the van sorted.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS TONIGHT AT ROMFORD SWIFT FLY AND SWIFTY DOES IT. AT SUNDERLAND SWIFT YAWN AND WESTFORTH AVAYLA.
SATURDAY THE 16TH OF MAY
A busy day. We have John O’Reilly coming to check hounds. We need meat. Were going to do a major tidy up, make more boxes and beds and whatever happens we will watch Newcastle play West Ham tonight.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT ROMFORD SWIFTY DOES IT. TONIGHT WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS AT CENTRAL PARK SWIFT QUAID, SWIFT KRAB, SWIFT BREE AND AT TOWCESTER SWIFT MAGNISON.
SUNDAY 17TH MAY:
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will also get caught up with paperwork.
