WEEK STARTING MONDAY 7TH OF NOVEMBER

Monday 7th November:

We are doing the journal late today the day went well and as normal on Monday we have to be all fed up before 12 o’clock as the main job of today was trialing at Shelbourne Park I posted all the paper work off, got food from the super market and got a tyre changed. Newcastle United can’t stop winning and another super result yesterday. On the Greyhound Star British Performance of the week we have three hounds on this week list Churchill Holly at Nottingham, Swift Lethal at Doncester and at Yarmouth Swift Unkind. Very impressive young hound last night winning at Clonmel was Swift Hipster who win his 550 yard race a long way.

Tuesday 8th November:

A nice day, we have been to the Cash and Carry plus got all our waste away, we are worming all brood bitches and cutting their nails and hunting pups and we also have to go do the Dunphys stud to collect Swift Bach who was mated to Pestana. Last night at Yarmouth Swift Raisin did a super run winning his A1 by seven  lengths in 27.50.

Wednesday 9th November:

Were doing Wednesdays journal on Sunday morning. When we don’t update the journal daily it means were either having problems or were busy. The last few days we have been very busy. I had to go to the UK twice to get supplies as paper bedding is nearly impossible to get. On Wednesday it was a day for preparing hounds for schooling as like most kennels we have had the cough and were getting on top of the work again.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT HARLOW SWIFT ACQUIT.

Thursday 10th November:

Were doing Thursdays journal on Sunday morning. On Thursday I had a dog to deliver to Northern Ireland that was sold. I also had meat to collect. We had to go to the vets to get passports for hounds that are sold going to the UK. At the kennels we did a massive swap around with kennel dogs, mothers and pups and saplings.

Friday 11th November:

We prepared hounds for schooling which took all day. I went to the UK again to collect paper. The day went well and the weather was good.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE EIGHT. RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT ROMFORD: SWIFT QUAFF, RANCHES KING AND SWIFT MELLOW. AT OXFORD: SLIDER MCCOY, RANCHES ROGUE, RAILS MCCOY, SUPA NOVA AND SWIFT ICONIC

Saturday 12th November:

Saturday went  well. We took our waste away to the dump, washed the vans, prepared more hounds for schooling. The only problem of the day was the battery died on the drag hare. Newcastle United are third from the top which is absolutely incredible after how bad we were last year. We cant stop winning and long may it last.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD FOUR WINNERS LAST NIGHT. AT ROMRORD SWIFT MELLOW. AT OXFORD RANCHES ROGUE, SUPA NOVA AND SWIFT ICONIC.

TONIGHT WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS. AT CRAYFORD: WOODCOCKS AKIA, MISS BIG PANTS AND SWIFT JAGUAR.

Sunday 13th November:

The weather is overcast and I think we will get rain. We have to meet Ross Myles as he is taking hounds that are sold to the UK. We have paperwork to do, the website to tidy. Other than that it will be a normal Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT AT SWINDON MOHICAN TARA AND SWIFT SUNSET.
