WEEK STARTING MONDAY 31ST OF OCTOBER

MONDAY 31ST OCTOBER:

We are doing Monday journal on Tuesday  morning it was a bank holiday on Monday in Southern Ireland. We had rain all day so we power wash the whole places which took all day and give a mass tidy up as well. On this weeks greyhound star performance of the week we have two hounds on the the list at Nottingham Churchill holly and at Yarmouth Supa Nova.

ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD  ONE RUNNER AT NOTTINGHAM CHURCHILL HOLLY.

TUESDAY 1ST NOVEMBER:

Its a dry morning but it looks like rain again to come later today. The main job today is schooling in Shelbourne park.  We need a lot of supplies as well today.

ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM CHURCHILL HOLLY TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT SHEFFIELD AUSSIE MCCOY.

WEDNESDAY 2ND NOVEMBER:

We are doing the journal late in the day, The rain and wind is like never before we are lucky we are on the side of a hill. I also forgot to say in yesterday journal Ross Myles took hounds that are sold to the UK and had them all delivered  before 5.30 am today. At the kennels today we needed meat, food for pups from the Supermarket plus milk for pups and we did beds in kennels and houses.

THURSDAY 3RD NOVEMBER:

We are doing Thursdays journal on Friday morning, we took three dogs to the vet to get them ready to go to the retirement homes, we needed Kasko dog food, at the kennels we prepared dogs for schooling and got all the hounds checked by John O’Reilly that are schooling and the day went well and for a change it was a dry day.

FRIDAY 4TH NOVEMBER:

It’s a nice dry but cold day, we need all our waste away, we need meat and we also have bitches for mating so we will have a trip to the Dunphys stud. At the kennels it’s a day for cutting nails, injecting hounds and changing beds and if we will get all that done that will be a good day.

Saturday 5th November:

Were doing Saturdays journal on Sunday morning as I day tripped to the UK for supplies. At the kennels we prepared more hounds for schooling, did the never ending job of changing beds owing to all the rain and the day went well.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT CRAYFORD: MASSIVE EGO AND WOODCOCK ARIA.

Sunday 6th November:

Its a dry morning with a clear sky for a change. We have the van to empty with supplies from the UK, a load of paperwork to do, we have to tidy the website. Other than that it will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean and feed. Newcastle United play Southampton and its on the TV so I will watch that this afternoon. A win could take us into 3rd place.
