WEEK STARTING MONDAY 1ST OF MARCH

Monday 1st March:

A cold foggy start to the morning but the forecast is good. The plans today we need supplies the vans need tidy up, if the frost lifts which I think it will we will hunt pups. We have 10 weeks old pups to go in to big concrete yard, paper work needs to be done. Two pups to watch out for Rail Mccoy previous name Swift Adobe and Potent Touch previous name Swift Barrier. Rail Mccoy looks a Romford open racer in the making after winning last night and Potent Touch looks a strong running dog and a open racer in the making after qualifying in 29.07 Newcastle second 525 in his live both August 2019.

Tuesday 2nd March:

It’s a cold dry morning and the first job is to meet Ross Myles who is taking the last hound to the UK that is sold to his new owner. We need our waste away, we need to make boxes and beds for mother and pups plus we have hounds to hunt and maintenance work to do.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT TOWCESTER SWIFT GUARD.

Wednesday 3rd March:

A nice dry morning and a busy start to the day. We did the last preparation work ready for schooling on Monday at Shelbourne Park with our next five saplings check schooling news for their names. We have maintenance work to do and a swap around with young pups. We need supplies and we also need fish.

Thursday 4th March:

Another nice dry morning, we have already packed our Gain food away along with the fish. We are going to hunt pups, collect supplies get hounds checked that are schooling at Shelbourne Park on Monday probably wash the vans.

Friday 5th March:

A nice dry morning again and plenty to do. Our order from Red Mills is here, we have supplies to collect, hounds to hunt plus maintenance work to do. The football results all went right for Newcastle United last night thank goodness.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT ROMFORD SWIFT COPE.

Saturday 6th March:

Its a dry morning but cold The plans for today is to do the VAT, add our March and April 2019 hounds to the dogs for sale page, try a get every scrap of paperwork up to date and change the beds in the kennels. I have had a hectic week as I day tripped to the UK twice. Its difficult getting transport back from the UK along with the nightmare of paperwork. Thankfully I have a good team around me which makes it easy. I will try and get the waste away and I will wash the vans. Its a massive weekend for Newcastle United in the Premiership who are having problems on and off the field.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT SWIFT COPE AT ROMFORD.

Sunday 7th March:

Its a cold dry morning and it was -2 degrees when we started at 6am. Its nearly daylight now when we start which is great news. Everywhere has dried up and we will be crying out for rain next. It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean and feed. I dont think we will be able to hunt pups as the ground will be rock hard with the frost. With a bit of luck we will get the vans washed and cleaned. Its a big game for Newcastle United today. If we cant get three points we definitely need one. Big Sam West Broms manager has never been relegated and he will have a game plan and no doubt he will be looking for three points himself. We just about got all the paperwork done yesterday.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT CENTRAL PARK SWIFT ADDITION.
