I have just had a text a pup we have bred swift woof has just done 16.16 first time Sheffield 2nd time in the traps I don’t know if the track is fast or slow.

FRIDAY 14TH AUGUST:

Were doing Fridays journal on Saturday morning. The week has gone well without Pagie and to be fair Miroush has been the head lad and is back to his best. He has done maintenance work, watched pups and ran the place along with myself. A top class lad who are hard to find as he doesnt drink or smoke and has a love for the dogs. The weather has been great which is a big help.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE WE HAD THREE RUNNERS AT ROMFORD: FILMSTAR, SWIFT TARQUIN AND SWIFT ACQUITTAL.

SATURDAY 15TH AUGUST:

Another nice day with plenty to do. We need supplies, all our waste need to be taken away and were going to do a swap around with schooling dogs, mothers and pups and broods. We also need food for pups from the supermarket, paperwork to catch up on. The sale of Newcastle United now looks completely dead in the water and the lockdown in Kildare continues. Thankfully the Bell Yard isnt open and thankfully I’m not drinking as several people in Monasterevin have the virus. I believe they havent got it too bad and lets hope they all have a swift recovery. A lot of the lads who have it drink in the Bell Yard. Pagie has been on the phone and is enjoying the break in Poland which he deserves.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT CONEY BOOM BOOM AT MONMORE.

SUNDAY 16TH AUGUST:

Were doing Sundays journal on Saturday afternoon. I must have lost a stone in weight this week which will do me no harm as I havent stopped. Were up to date with all the work and I have it set up so its all easy to manage and clean. The only thing we could possible need next week is fish. Tomorrow will be a typical Sunday where we clean, cook, let hounds out that are in kennels and feed. I have a lot of young pups and the good weather definitely helps with them. They thrive in this weather and I find the mothers more relaxed with them in the summer months.
