Monday 9th December:
A cold dry morning with plenty to do. The main job of the day is getting a new oil burner and getting the plumber back to fit it. We got the vet coming to check all dogs that are schooling and if everything goes well we will go to the cash and carry. A litter we thought the world of here Eden the kid X Zaras fantasy, there was six in the litter, 5 out of the 6 have ran and all of them that have ran have won, three of the five are rated over 100 on greyhound data and all of them improving. Newcastle united won again and are now on 22 points and with 22 games left to play we need four or five wins to be safe for another season and by the time the fourth round of the F.A cup comes as we should beat Rochdale or boston united in the 3rd round we could be safe and steve bruce might just be able to have a go at the F.A cup. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM WOKEEN AND SWIFT CONUNDRUM.
Tuesday 10th December:
A wet and windy morning and it could even rain all day, if we get a break in the rain we will gallop and hunt a few pups. We have supplies to collect, a bit of tidying up and we might get to the cash and carry. I still haven’t got the heating fixed in my house as I wasted half the day yesterday trying to find a burner, boiler and pump. I eventually did and its coming by currier so hopefully it will be here today and we will be up and running by tomorrow at the latest. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM WOKEEN.
Wednesday 11th December:
We are doing Wednesdays journal on Thursday morning. We had to get the tonsils out of two hounds when I went to pick the hounds up yesterday afternoon they were jumping around without a bother on them, amazing how all these operations have improved. We prepared more hounds for schooling and all we have left to do is the farloe blitz X Swift palmer litter and we galloped them and they went very well, There already sold. My heating for the house fiasco continues but its a true saying if you want anything done in Ireland, tomorrow will do. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT HARLOW GREENEND NANCY.
Thursday 12th December:
As we do the journal at 7:30 in the morning its pouring from the heavens but if the forecast is right it has to dry up which will be ideal for the main job of the day which is schooling at newbridge. Our pasta has finally arrived and I have it to collect from dsv haulage in newbridge as we can not get an artric truck down our lane way. We will try and tidy up more garden paddocks. We had one open race winner last night greenend Nancy, she is the first winner from the eden the kid X zaras fantasy litter and wont be the last. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT HARLOW GREENEND NANCY. TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT GUARD.
Friday 13th December:
A cold and windy day and plenty to do. We need fish, all our waste needs to go to the landfill, the place needs a tidy up, padgie will go through all the dogs after them been trialled as he is very good at checking them and with a bit of luck il take the photos of the hounds on the dog for sale page that are missing.
Saturday 14th December:
As we do the journal at 8am it’s a wet and windy morning which will limit wat we can do. We have supplies to collect, hopefully we will get the vans washed, we will change beds and do the everyday jobs and make sure all doors and windows are closed in the kennels. Newcastle United play Burnley today. If we get a point it will be a good result. If we get three it will take us to the unbelievable height of 25 points at this stage of the season. Its six weeks since I’ve had a drink after my operation and I’ve never felt better.

Sunday 15th December:
As we do the journal at 7:30 am its a cold frosty morning which again will limit what we can do. Padgie is off today so him and the family are away to a Christmas show. It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let dogs out of the kennels. Newcastle United were as bad as ever against Burnley.
