Monday 16th December:

A cold dry day and its a frosty morning so there will be no hunting or galloping but we still have loads to do. Im going to finish the garden paddocks  off, levelling the sand and changing the beds. We will start in the field(rearing paddocks) changing beds and cutting the pups and saplings nails. I have john nolans the earmarking man to meet and there is more supplies to collect. We are getting dogs checked by the vet that are schooling and hopefully our order comes from red mills. A busy day. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM WOKEEN, HAGGSWOOD RIVER AND HOPALONG ELENI.

Tuesday 17th December:

A cold morning but no frost. The first job of the day is to get food for pups from the supermarket, our order from red mills didn’t arrive yesterday but is definitely coming today so we need to tidy the garage up, we are going to level the sand out in the brood bitches letting out paddocks and then move on the rearing paddocks in the field where we will change the beds and clip the nails. Both vans need a tidy up and a wash due to the weather and we might even gallop a few hounds. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM HAGGSWOOD RIVER AND HOPALONG ELENI.

Wednesday 18th December:

No frost and no rain and as we do the journal at 7:30 am its 5 degrees. The main job of the day is we have john nolans coming to mark up dogs and earmark pups, we have more preparation work to do for the Christmas holidays and all going well I will go for bagged powdered milk this afternoon. We will try do another sand run or two (levelling out). That will be about as much as we can do today. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT HARLOW TONIGHT POINTLESS PRAISE.

Thursday 19th December:

Its a mild morning for December and it looks like its going to be a showery day. The main job of the day is schooling at newbridge. We didn’t get any sand runs done yesterday due to the weather but hopefully we get one or two done today, without sounding like a party poop the Christmas and new year will all be over a fortnight today and things will be back to normal. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT HARLOW POINTLESS PRAISE. TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT NEWCASTLE OLD BUCK.

Friday 20th December:

Not to cold for a December morning, its nice and dry. The main job of the day is finish levelling the sand runs out at the top where the brood bitches are let out and we are also going to take photographs of the hounds on the dog for sale page and weigh them and add it to the dog for sale page. The preparations for the Christmas holidays are going well. Several pups ran very well last night swift lettuce 27.66 +10 at Yarmouth, Morpeth lad and Bedlington boy at Newcastle.

Saturday 21st December:

The shortest day of the year so once we get today over it will get brighter in the mornings and brighter at night. Its a foggy morning but no frost, we are all prepared for the Christmas and the only thing I need on Monday is fish, today we are going to handslip a few hounds at newbridge, change beds in our kennels and do a tidy up. Newcastle united have another important game against crystal palace lets hope we win or at worst get a point. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT HOVE FANTASTICAL AND BRITANNIA WILL. AT CRAYFORD SWIFT LIBBY AND JILLYPOPS.

Sunday 22nd December:

Were doing the journal on Sunday afternoon and the preparations have gone brilliant for the Christmas holidays. It has been a lovely day for December which always helps. We had a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let out. Newcastle United got another fantastic three points yesterday. Four wins  will now do us and we might even get away with another three. We could be safe for another season by February.
