WEEK STARTING MONDAY 8TH OF NOVEMBER

Monday 8th November:

It’s been a hectic morning so far I finally getting a lorry to get my paper back from England after ringing 30 haulage companies. We have been to the dump and also been to the supermarket to get food for pups the next job is trials in Shelbourne Park. We will update the dog for sale page around 5 o’clock tonight.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS CONEY KRAKATOA, CHURCHILL LULU, CHURCHILL HOLLY  AT NOTTINGHAM.

Tuesday 9th November:

It’s a wet morning and plenty to do and we need loads of supplies, our pasta it’s on it way from the UK and I just about to get the paper bedding organized to come from the UK as well. The sales department has been very busy and a big thanks to everybody who bought a hound. Newcastle United have a new manager lets hope he can turn us around.

Wednesday 10th – Sunday 14th November:

The first thing that gets neglected when we are too busy is the weekly journal. On Wednesday my head lads daughter had a four hour operation. Thankfully it all went well. On Thursday we had 12 hounds that were sold sent over to the UK to their new homes. On Friday we needed a load of supplies and I spent half of the day trying to get our supplies here from the UK. The paper will be here on Tuesday and hopefully the pasta will be here by the end of next week. The calcium should be here the week after and the fish will be here on Tuesday which has all gone up in price. At the kennels we hunted and galloped, tidied up, had hounds checked that are schooling, did bits of maintenance, prepared for a massive swap with pups, saplings and kennel dogs from concrete yards to rearing paddocks and from rearing paddocks to kennels. This coming week will be the busiest week I’ve had at the kennels since I came to Ireland. The journal will be back to normal tomorrow and we will be adding the open racers.
