Monday 12th august:
A nice morning and ideal for galloping which is the main job of the day today. We have straw to collect, waste to go away and as usual a few supplies to collect. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT PORT AND SWIFT TRILLION.
Tuesday 13th august:
A nice morning and we will continue on with the hedge cutting and levelling the paddocks out and we will be galloping more hounds and they will be the main jobs of the day. We will try and wash the vans and other than the everyday jobs that will be about as much as we can do today. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS AT SHEFFIELD CONEY BOOM BOOM, CONEY KAMAKAZE, CONEY SABELLA, CONEY CASSIUS AND CONEY KUCCINI.
Wednesday 14th august:
An overcast day and we have had heavy rain overnight. We have one paddock left to do in the gardens and the hedge cutting at the end of it so that will be completed today. We will be preparing more hounds ready for schooling and we have supplies to collect and that will be as much as we can do today. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT HARLOW SWIFT TARQUIN AND SWIFT ZANETA.
Thursday 15th august:
It does not look like rain but the weather is nowhere near as nice. We have trialled at newbridge and we will continue on with the hedge cutting. We have supplies to collect, lists to make and I will have to get someone to do my vat as my accountant is away on holidays and I’m behind . Swift eva is coping well with her bad leg and I will have her back to the vets again so we are keeping on top of it. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT HARLOW SWIFT TARQUIN.
Friday 16th august:
Its a wet start to the morning and we have plenty to do today. First of all we are going to change all beds everywhere, we have straw to bag, waste straw to go away and a big tidy in the garage. Along with the everyday jobs like cooking, feeding, cleaning and letting dogs in and out that are kennelled up we will try and clip all of our broods nails and if we get that much done today it will be a successful day. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN IRELAND WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT IN SHELBOURNE SWIFT SHAMROCK.
Saturday 17th august:
A busy start to the day as we had supplies come from England so they all had to be packed away. All our waste is to go away, we need food for pups, veg and a trip to cash and carry. I am finishing early to watch the Newcastle game and this is a game we have got to get a result from. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE SIX RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT MONMORE SWIFT BISCUIT, SWIFT SENSIBLE AND BRAMBLE MILBURN. AT CRAYFORD SWIFT CASEY, SWIFT NADIA AND WOOF A RHYTHM.
Sunday 18th august:
An overcast and blustery morning and a typical sunday, we are going to do a small swap around with hounds, pups and mothers and pups. We are going to make all the lists and other than the usual everyday jobs of cooking, cleaning, feeding and letting dogs out that are kennelled up that will be about as much as we can get done today. After watching Newcastle united yesterday its going to be one long hard season. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT HENLOW SWIFT DANIELLE.
