Monday 5th august:

Its an overcast morning and a bank holiday in southern Ireland. We are going to continue on with the hedge cutting and will probably get it all finished by tonight. The sales department has been busy so thanks to everybody who bought a hound. We have the last bit of work to do on the gallop. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS. AT NOTTINGHAM NORMANSLAND FLYER AND SWIFT TRILLION. AT DONCASTER SWIFT BEVEL.

Tuesday 6th august:

Its an overcast morning and the main jobs of the day is finish the work on the gallop, get rid of our waste, get dogs checked that are schooling by brian jones, make all lists and do the paperwork right up to date. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT SHEFFIELD CONEY SABELLA, CONEY KARAT AND CONEY BOOM BOOM.

Wednesday 7th august:

I am doing Wednesdays journal on Thursday morning as it was a busy day. We did more preparation work with pups ready for schooling, we are levelling the sand runs out in the garden paddocks and cutting the hedges at the end of them next to the road. I set away at lunchtime for fish and got back late last night. Newcastle united have made another signing so all going well there. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT HARLOW SWIFT ZANETA.

Thursday 8th august:

The first job of the day was emptying the van with fish and it was still as hard as when we put it on yesterday evening in killybegs. We have gain dog food coming today so that will have to be packed away, we will continue on levelling the sand runs out and cutting hedges at the end of the runs. We are going to do a swap around with pups, saplings, dogs that are schooling and mother and pups that have just been born. We need supplies if we get it all done today it will be another very good day. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER AT HARLOW SWIFT ZANETA. TONIGHT WE HAVE NINE RUNNERS, AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT SENSIBLE. AT YARMOUTH SWIFT ONYX, SWIFT BISCUIT, SWIFT BULLET, COLLSWOOD HAWK, SWIFT TARQUIN, SWIFT GALWAY AND SWIFT SABBATH. AT HOVE BRITTANIA WILL.

Friday 9th august:

We have had heavy rain and thunder storms overnight and we got up to no electricity this morning, as we do the journal at 8:30 am the power is now back on. We have all our waste to go away plus all the hedge cuttings, as ever we need supplies and we will continue on doing the massive swap with hounds and pups and if the weather stays ok we will continue on with the hedge cutting. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD THREE WINNERS AT YARMOUTH SWIFT BISCUIT, SWIFT ONYX AND SWIFT TARQUIN. IN SWIFT TARQUINS RACE WE HAD THE FIRST THREE HOME SO ANOTHER GOOD NIGHT PLUS SWIFT BISCUIT IS THE LEADING OPEN RACE WINNER OF 2019.

Saturday 10th august:

We are doing Saturdays journal on Sunday morning as yesterday was none stop and we finished at 3 o’clock with the premiership season starting. We trialled at newbridge, collected supplies, continued on with the hedge cutting and tidying the garden paddocks up. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD THREE RUNNERS, AT MONMORE BRAMBLE MILBURN AND AT CRAYFORD SWIFT LOKI  AND SWIFT RAEYLYNN.

Sunday 11th august:

Another overcast day and it looks like we are going to get more rain. We have no padgie today as his youngest child is one year old and they have had a big party all weekend with family and friends all attending. At the kennels we are going to continue on doing the hedge cutting and sand runs tidying up. The three litters that were born this week all doing well and I am finishing today at quarter to two to watch Newcastle united and shane and the boys will work on and get everything done. I have a group of lads at the moment as good as I have had. My late father used to say when you run a small business your only as good as your staff. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK  WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT HENLOW SWIFT BYRON.
