MONDAY THE 18TH OF MAY
A mix day of weather. We got all our waste away which is my first job of the day. I have a load of supplies to order. We have started another major tidy up and we had to be fed up early as the main job of the day was trialing in Kilkenny. Newcastle united played a lot better yesterday against West ham and we got a well deserved win.

TUESDAY THE 19TH OF MAY
A mixed day of weather with plenty of rain. There is meat to collect, bits and pieces of supplies to collect and the vat to go to the accountant. We are leveling the sand runs out in the garden paddocks. The dogs that are sold are going to the UK left with Darragh Ryan this morning, we also have a hound to delivered in Ireland that is sold. We will continue on with the massive tidy up around the place.

WEDNESDAY 20TH OF MAY
When we don’t do the journal either something has gone wrong or we are very busy. I bought my second van in a week on Wednesday online auction without seeing it. I didn’t get it till Thursday as everything has to now be done online and is the best van I had in years, it had done no work and done no miles. I got of to a bad start as the first day I drove it was Friday morning and I had a bump with it but by we are finished with it I suppose it will have more bumps on it. At the kennels we have two sand runs levelled out and took two more broods to Droopys Stud so there will be no shortage of greyhounds at Lughill Kennels.
THURSDAY 21ST OF MAY
We finally got paper bedding from the UK but the truck didn’t arrive till half one on Thursday so in the morning we got all the kennels done tidy all the beds up and did more tidying up and weeding. I have collected the van from Willsons auctions took it straight to get serviced and checked out. We needed a couple minor parts and the timing belt done and it will be like a brand new van.

FRIDAY THE 22ND OF MAY
A busy day we needed meat, we are continuing on with the tidying up. We got all the beds changed as we have paper and now we are doing a swap around with pups saplings and brood bitches and getting organized for the broods to start having their pups.

SATURDAY THE 23RD OF MAY
Its a lovely summer morning. The 2019 van is at the garage getting a service and my new van is flying. All of the hounds that are schooling are getting checked today. Were going to continue on levelling the sand runs. We will continue on swapping pups, saplings and kennel dogs. Were going to start doing the last three fronts of the rearing paddocks and we will continue on with the big tidy up. We have to give brood bitches their herpes injection.

SUNDAY THE 24TH OF MAY
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels.
