Saturday 9th March:
Its very windy but dry. All has gone well for the week. Were up to date with paperwork and mostly everything else. Were going to hunt pups, get rid of all our waste, get rid of all our pallets and do a major tidy up.
I speak to Steve Anderson who trains at Newcastle nearly everyday. If anybody deserves to qualify for the Golden Sprint final at Romford he does. He has had three days like nobody has every had before. He has been in hospital, broke down in a brand new van coming home from Romford. Typical of Steve when he was telling us about his journey home at 7:30 from Romford he was killing himself laughing as he had just arrived home. Best of luck in the final Steve with Bramble Milburn.

Friday 8th march:
It is a very cold but dry morning. The plans today are as usual cook, clean, feed and letting dogs in and out that are in kennels. We will be galloping dogs which is the most important job of today. We also also be doing a massive tidy up around the place and thats as much as we will get done today. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE SIX RUNNERS AT ROMFORD OH ARMANI, OH YESYESYES, SWIFT SABBATH, BRAMBLE MILBURN, SWIFT DIXON AND SWIFT BULLET.
Thursday 7th march:
Its being a very windy night and a very long one as coney cactus had her pups last night six bitches one dog and there the biggest beautiful pups we have had in a long time by farloe blitz, there is five black ones and two pure white, it is coney cactus first litter and she is the perfect mother. We got the white van fixed. The plans for today hunt pups, change beds in the kennels, bag straw and collect supplies. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT HOVE HARTS BEAUTY AND SWIFT SAVANNA.
Wednesday 6th march:
We had heavy rain over night but thankfully its dry now. We are going to hunt pups, we have dogs going to the uk with ross myles, we need parts for the van, we have straw to collect ad a major tidy up to do after the storm. I have an appointment with the accountant and i also have an appointment with the bank as its not like days of old with all the new regulations the bank manager is now like revenue wants to see everything so another busy day.
Tuesday 5th march:
Its a bright cold morning with no frost so there should be no problems with our trials at newbridge. We are going to hunt pups, and do a major tidy up of the bottom corner where we keep the pallets. The white van needs the mechanic as the thrust bearing has gone on it, we are up to date with all paperwork unbelievably and other than the photographs needed to be put on greyhound data of the new hounds we have added to the dog for sale page we are on top of all the work. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS AT NOTTINGHAM CONEY KUCCINI AND WOKEEN.
Monday 4th march:
We are doing mondays journal on tuesday morning. We got heavy snow which started sunday afternoon and i had to go to dublin to meet up with the website designer and it took me all day to get there and back, thankfully i got home the snow was about gone. We got all our waste away and there was not much more we could do other than the everyday jobs own to the weather. Our new website should be up and running around the 21st of march. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD FIVE RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM CONEY BOOM BOOM, CONEY KUCCINI, HAGGSWOOD RIVER, NIDDERDALE LARK AND WOKEEN.
Sunday 3rd March:
Its a cool, overcast moring and were up to date with all the work which is unbelievable. We got the gallop finished yesterday, all the beds got changed, all the bathing is finished, all the paperwork is complete and we added the next lot of hounds to the dogs for sale page. We only need to take the photos and add them to greyhound data which we will do next weekend.
Its going to be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let out. Newcastles run came to an end yesterday but thankfully Cardiff, Burnley and Southampton all got beaten.
