MONDAY THE 9TH OF OCTOBER
The weathers been fantastic for October a typical Monday where we had to be fed up early kennels done early ready for the main job of the day trailing in Shelbourne Park. The traffic was bad going up to Dublin and coming home. I thought Newcastle united got a big point yesterday at West Ham.

TUESDAY 10TH OF OCTOBER
We are doing Tuesdays journal on Wednesday evening. The weather was good and the day went well. We did our weekly trip to the vets hunted pups change beds in the kennels a long with a load of maintenance work.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER LAST NIGHT AT SHEFFIELD SWIFT ICONIC IH THE SEMI FINAL OF THE STEEL CITY CUP.
WEDNESDAY 11TH OF OCTOBER
Its rain all day, so we tidy up the garages, swap hounds a round a long with pups from runs to kennels . We needed food for pups from the supermarket all the wasted away to the dump plus all the paperwork was posted off and to top a good day of work off I tidied up all paper up with my accountant.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD NO WINNER LAST NIGHT BUT SWIFT ICONIC QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL OF THE STEEL CITY CUP AT SHEFFIELD.
THURSDAY 12TH OF OCTOBER
We are doing Thursday journal on Friday evening. We had meat to collect and at the kennels the whole day was took up with preparing hounds for schooling, we fed up early and did the cleaning of kennels early as well..
FRIDAY 13TH OF OCTOBER
A day of mixed weather, we needed food for pups from the supermarket, we had beds to changes in the kennels plus the vans to wash a long with the last of the maintenance work to finished.

SATURDAY 14TH OF OCTOBER
A nice day but cold, we started preparing hounds for schooling at day light the morning 6.30 am which will take all day. We got a delivery of Red Mills early today as well, we need all the waste away too plus a major tidy up around the yard along with the garages.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM ZOOM ANGEL TODAY WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS AT CRAYFORD SWIFT DAISY, SWIFT ALIEN, SWIFT SAPID, SWIFT QUINCEY, SWIFT MAGNITUDE. AND AT PERRY BARR SWIFT PALOMA.
Sunday 15th October:
We got up to the first frost of the Autumn this morning. It’s going to be a dry day but very cold. The plan for today: we have John O’Reilly coming to check hounds, we will tidy the website, do the paperwork, we have a bit of work to do on the gallop, all lists will be made for the coming week and that will be as much as we can do today.
