MONDAY THE 5TH OF OCTOBER
A nice morning for October and plenty to do we are changing the beds in the garden paddocks . Got all our waste to the dump , we need food for pups , a load of supplies to order , a trip to the cash and carry as well . We had visitors first thing this morning to collect a hound that was sold. We are doing maintenance work as well and we have kenneled up another litter of pups.
TUESDAY THE 6TH OF OCTOBER
An overcast morning and it looks like we are going to get rain. We have an lorry of paper bedding coming so that will have to be emptied and packed away. The freezer is just about empty i only have fish so I must get meat , tripe and chicken today as its impossible to get in southern Ireland and if the worst comes to the worst I will have to give a fortune for meat from Kildare chillin . As normal we will need bits and pieces of supplies and we will start doing a major tidy up around the yard.
WEDNESDAY THE 7TH OF OCTOBER
A nice morning with a bright blue sky John Nolans is coming to earmark pups and mark saplings up into their books and we will start a big swap around with pups into the rearing paddocks we will continue on with the tidy up we have a delivery of dog food coming
THURSDAY THE 8TH OF OCTOBER
We are doing Thursdays journal on Friday morning the whole was took up with galloping hounds and preparing them for schooling the 191 van got serviced and we will continue on tidy up cutting the grass for the last tine this year and the day went well.

FRIDAY THE 9TH OF OCTOBER
A nice day bright and sunny and not as cool as Thursday we did all our waste away food for pups from the supermarket we have delivery of bagged dog food coming and we also got to go to Northern Ireland for chicken tripe and factory meat and we also doing maintenance work.

SATURDAY THE 10TH OF OCTOBER
The first job will be going to the dump as we were on the way on Friday morning but the fan belt snaped so our mechanic will fit the fan belt on the Friday afternoon so back up and running again for Saturday. We need more meat so that have to be collected as the meat shortage is coming to the end. At the kennels the whole day will be took up with preparing more hounds for schooling.
