TUESDAY THE 13TH OF OCTOBER

We had heavy rain and strong winds over night but today is a nice and dry with a lovely blue sky. The plans today, we are doing a major swap around with pups saplings and kennel dogs, we are worming them and trimming their nails as we go. We have already been to vets to get more supplies, we need to go to TRI Floods in Newbridge for sawdust buckets and bins and watering cans and to top a good days work off we will get all our waste away as well.

ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT KIPPER. The below write up is taking from the greyhound star.

Swift Kipper won the only 500m open on the night, not for catching off a very smart 4.93 split. With the track as quick as it was, there was little concern that Terry Munslow’s bitch would be reeled back in after that sort of start, another who has been a Nottingham win machine this year, picking up her 16th success in 2026.

WEDNESDAY THE 14TH OF OCTOBER

A busy morning we have been preparing hounds for schooling . We had meat to collect. A delivery from red mills. The sales department was very busy so thanks to everyone that bought a hound. The 222 van has to go for a recall to Downey’s Auto Stop Limited. We have done a bit of maintenance work and I have an empty fridge in the house so my next job is to take a trip to the supermarket after I get the journal done
