MONDAY THE 3RD OF AUGUST
Its is a bank holiday in southern Ireland today but a normal day at the kennels, the main job is trialing in Kilkenny. The vans has to be wash, garages to tidy up, the last of the hedge cutting to do and more pups to worm.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT TALK.
TUESDAY THE 4TH OF AUGUST
We had our first rain in weeks thank goodness, we will get all our waste away today another full van loaded to go. We need food for pups from the supermarket, we need to go to the hardware and the cash and carry to collect supplies and all hounds that are sold are all delivered with the rain all we can do is tidy up all kennels.
WEDNESDAY THE 5TH OF AUGUST
I was at the vets collecting supplies and I was also invited to the big birthday party as my head lad Padgie youngest daughter who was 8th. We had to dig up half of the yard as we have a major problem with the drain we also galloped hounds which took all day.
THURSDAY THE 6TH OF AUGUST
We needed meat more food for pups from the supermarket we have also been in dealz for disinfectant, had a delivery of red mills dog food and the top of the busy morning we had all the hounds checked that are schooling after the storm we had on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning we are doing the tidy up on the road as you drive into my place.

FRIDAY THE 7TH OF AUGUST
I day tripped to England for a load of bedding. At the kennels we gave my house a major tidy as I have a friend coming to stay for a few days. With workers and greyhounds coming in and out all day, it soon gets into a mess. The whole day was taken up preparing hounds for schooling and galloping. As normal we needed supplies from the Cash and Carry and supermarket.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK AND IRELAND WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT AT HOVE SWIFT JARVIS AND AT THE VALLEY SWIFT KIMBERELY. TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT ROMFORD MADE OF STONE AND AT SHELLBOURNE PARK HARLEQUIN GEE UP
SATURDAY 8TH OF AUGUST
The first job was to collect meat. We’ve been moving pups around and worming them. We got all the waste away, changed all the beds in the kennels. We gave the place a major tidy up.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK AND IRELAND WE HAVE SIX RUNNERS AT CENTRAL PARK DEVONSHIRE ACE, SWIFT ICE CREAM, MARTINDALE LAD AND SWIFT FACTOR. STAR PELAW SWIFT YAWN. AND AT SWIFT HAYLEY.
SUNDAY 9TH OF AUGUST
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will also get caught up on paperwork.
