MONDAY THE 17TH OF AUGUST
An overcast day and a nice cool day ideal for trialing which is the main job of today at Kilkenny. We need food for pups from the supermarket , a trip to the cash and carry which will have to be done today or tomorrow at the very latest. We will have to fed up early and we will also have to change all the beds in all the kennels.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT KIPPER
TUESDAY THE 18TH OF AUGUST
We are doing Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays journal all on Thursday morning. On Tuesday the first job of the day was to collect meat, we had a delivery from time dog food we needed food for pups and finally got to the cash and carry at the kennels we were worming pups and trimming nails and we also hunted pups.
WEDNESDAY THE 19TH OF AUGUST
We had to get all our waste away I needed tyres for 222 van and I also had to get the van serviced we had a delivery from kasko bagged dog food and the rest of the day was taking up with hunting pups and doing a small swap around with pups and saplings.
THURSDAY THE 20TH OF AUGUST
It’s been a lot cooler and we had rain for the last few days as we do a journal at 10am it’s dry for the main job of the day preparing hounds for schooling which will take all day. We need food for pups from the supermarket a trip to the cash and carry a service kit for the 191 van and a load of more bits and pieces form the hardware and T.R.I..
FRIDAY THE 21ST OF AUAGUST
A dry day and not to hot and its a day of maintenance work at the kennels. All the hounds that are sold are being delivered to the UK as normal and we also need paper bedding as we have ran out of it so that will have to be collect and we also have a hound going to the vets to get its tooth out so a busy day all around
Saturday 22nd August:
We needed meat, chicken and tripe so it all had to be collected. I had to go to the vets to collect a dog that got a tooth out as the vet kept him over night as a precaution. At the kennels we got all the dogs checked that are schooling ready for trials on Monday and we changed beds in the kennels.
Sunday 23rd August:
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels.
