MONDAY THE 24TH OF AUGUST
A cool dry day ideal for trialing in Kilkenny which is the main job of the day. We need all the waste away to the dump food for pups from the supermarket , bits and pieces from the chemist and the local shop. You can always tell when were busy I neglect the weekly journal and I didn’t put the open runners on last week journal but whatever happens I will do it this week. I thought Newcastle united played very well yesterday and we deserved to win but I would of settled for a point before the game against Liverpool if my last father would of been alive it would of been his late birthday today.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT ODRAN AND SWIFT SWIFT KIPPER.
TUESDAY THE 25TH OF AUGUST
A nice day and the warm weather has returned. We need meat and paper bedding so both will have to be collected. We are going to put update the photos of some of our May 2025 hounds. We are doing maintenance work on the gallop. Newcastle are going to have a busy week in the transfer window and lets hope the deal comes through on Nico Gonzalez.
WEDNESDAY THE 26TH OF AUGUST
The first jobs of Wednesday morning was to collect meat , chicken and tripe. We also have supplies to collect from the vets. At the kennels we changed beds , had the vet here doing passport work and got the maintenance work done on the gallop. Newcastle united got their first win under the new manger and Nico Gonzalez was introduced to the crowd at St James park.
THURSDAY THE 27TH OF AUGUST
We have had heavy rain all day which is badly needed for the rearing paddocks so all outside work was stopped. We tided the garages up , had visitors , gave the freezer a good tidy up and we wormed and trimmed nails on pups and gave the vans a wash and a tidy up.

FRIDAY THE 28TH OF AUGUST
We had heavy rain over night and it didn’t clear up until 9 am. We got all our waste away , we got food for pups from the supermarket. We took photos of all the hounds on the dog for sale page and updated them. We had a delivery of redmills as we were down to the last few bags. The 191 van goes to get serviced tonight and after the heavy rain over night we did a massive tidy up around the yard.

SATURDAY THE 29TH OF AUGUST
We are going to cut the grass in the rearing paddocks and change the beds in the houses. We need more meat which is gone short. There is paper bedding to collect another big game for Newcastle united which I’m looking forward too.

SUNDAY THE 30TH OF AUGUST
We had rain yesterday like never before and it looks like the rain will start again today. It will be a typical Sunday where we tidy the website up and do the paperwork up we also have the van to empty with paper bedding. My right hand man Pagie is off today and I also have all the lists to do for supplies , trails and schooling.
