WEEK STARTING MONDAY THE 12TH OF JUNE

MONDAY THE 12TH OF JUNE:

A busy day and we were on the road early for trails at Shelbourne on the way back we collected dry meat went to the cash and carry and also got parts of the 191 vans at the kennels the lads fed up and tidied up the days went well. The track at Shelbourne today was in tip top condition fair play to the ground staff. We also had broods leave with Johnathan Best going to Droopys stud to get mated.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK, WE HAVE 3 RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM TONIGHT HITTHELIDS MYLO, CHURCHHILL HOLLY AND CHURCHILL BLAZE

 

TUESDAY THE 13TH OF JUNE:

We are doing Tuesdays journal on Thursday morning we had thunderstorms overnight and very heavy rain but again Tuesday was red hot we needed all our waste away we also needed meat we got the starter Moter fitted to the 191 van and we started doing a swap around with saplings, pups and kennel dogs once again.

 

WEDNESDAY THE 14TH OF JUNE:

We are doing Wednesdays journal on Thursday morning; Wednesday morning was very busy as we had to meet Micheal Flynn with hounds that were sold going to the UK, we also had to meet Johnathan Best with brood bitches that had been mated going home, we needed food for pups from the supermarket and we continued on with the swap around with the pup’s, saplings and kennel dogs.

 

THURSDAY THE 15TH OF JUNE:

The weather has been good again and we got the grass in the rearing paddocks cut and changed the beds in all the houses at the top of the paddocks in the afternoon we’ve done a massive tidy up all over my place and when we get the journal done, I will head to the vets for our weekly trip and at 5 o’clock we have John O’Rielly coming to check the dogs that are schooling.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK, WE HAVE 2 RUNNERS AT SWINDON SWIFT CASUAL AND SWIFT TAMANNA

 

FRIDAY THE 16TH OF JUNE:

We are doing Fridays journal a day in advance the plans for Friday are to get the swap around finished with the saplings, kennel dogs and pups and doing all hounds with a tablet so we don’t get a problem with ticks or fleas we also need meat.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK, WE HAD 9 RUNNERS AT OXFORD WE HAVE CEE CEE BAXTER, SLIDER MCCOY, TRUBBYS SWIFT AND DROHOBYCH LEADER AND AT ROMFORD WE HAD SWIFT INDIGO, SWIFT IAN, WRIGHTY, SWIFT QUAFF AND OLD FORD MONACO

 

SATURDAY THE 17TH OF JUNE: 

Were now getting showers and heavy rain which are badly needed for the rearing paddocks but its still very warm. We needed meat, all our waste away and we had a retired dog to pick up from the vets. Thankfully she is ok and on the mend. We finally got every hound wormed, done for fleas, nails cut and checked over. Every bed in every kennel has been changed. The day went well.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK, WE HAVE 6 RUNNERS AT MONMORE WE HAVE HITTHEHEILD MYLO, SWIFT BATTERY AT TOWCHESTER WE HAVE SUPA NOVA AND AT YARMOUTH WE HAVE MERLINS MATE, SWIFT LOVES AND IANS WARRIOR. WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT: WRIGHTY AT ROMFORD AND DROHOBYCH LEADER AT OXFORD.

Sunday 18th June:

Its going to be a typical Sunday where we tidy the website, do paperwork and prepare for a busy week. We will finally get the swapping around done with pups, saplings and kennel dogs. We also need food for pups.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT MONMORE SWIFT BATTERY. TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT SHEFFIELD MARCHIANOS PUNCH.
