WEEK STARTING MONDAY 7TH OF MARCH

Monday 7th March:

It was frosty at 6 am when we started but as we do a journal at 11 am its a lovely dry sunny day. We need supplies, food for pups and the main job of today is trialing at Shelbourne Park. On the Greyhound Star British Performance of the week from this week we have two hounds on it Potent Touch at Newcastle and Britania Alice at Hove.

Tuesday 8th March:

It’s a cold windy morning and the forecast is not good. We need all our waste away, bits and pieces of supplies and we are going to change the beds in the rearing houses on our second field. We have hounds that are sold going to the UK so we will do a swap around with kennel dogs.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT NEWCASTLE POTENT TOUCH

Wednesday 9th March:

A cold windy day, we need supplies and is very little we can do only tidy up garages, freezers and worm dogs.

Thursday 10th March:

A nice nice dry sunny day after all the rain yesterday. We need food for pups, we got the last of the hounds to worm and the last of the beds to change on the rearing houses and another big game tonight for Newcastle United and its also a big night for all the bottom teams playing in the Premier League.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS BRITANIA ALICE AT HOVE AND SWIFT LAUNCH AND DURANS FIGHTER AT PERRY BARR

Friday 11th March:

Its a wet and windy morning, we need fish, supplies and there very little we can do at the kennels with the weather other then clean, cook, feed and let the hounds in and out that are in kennels. A massive win  last night for Newcastle United and guaranteed safety is only one or two wins away now.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT ROMFORD SWIFT RAISIN, SWIFT COPE AND RAILS MCCOY.

Saturday 12th March:

Were doing Saturdays journal on Sunday morning. Its two years this week since I had a drink. I’ve never felt as well. It was a wet and windy day. We had to empty the fish and we had a lot of tidying up to do. The mechanic checked the vans over as the both need to be serviced. The day went well.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT SWIFT COPE AT ROMFORD. TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT MONMORE: TIFFIELD TROJAN AND MASSIVE EGO.

Sunday 13th March:

We’ve had heavy wind and rain overnight. As we do the journal at 9am its bright and dry. It will be a typical Sunday but were going to do a bit of swapping around with hounds, paperwork, make all lists for the coming week, tidy the vans. In the football Newcastle have a hard game away to Chelsea. To be fair the relegation battle is down to the bottom five. Leeds, Everton, Burnley, Watford and Norwich. We will update the open race runners later today.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT TOWCESTER YOUR KIDDING
