WEEK STARTING MONDAY 4TH OF OCTOBER

Monday 4th October:

A nice dry day but only 8 degrees and no chance of rain. We have to get our waste away get everything feed before 12 o’clock as we are going to Shelbourne Park for trials. We also needed food for pups and I gave the 191 van a good wash. We will update todays trials on  the dog for sale page around 5 o’clock to night from Shelbourne Park.

Tuesday 5th October:

We are doing the journal at 2.30 in the afternoon it’s been a hectic day but the day is gone well. We needed supplies and the garages needed tidying up, Plus  parts for the 151 van, we did the last of the nail cutting and worming plus the  3 monthly flee tablet to the hounds in the rearing paddocks, there is only the broods left to be done. The next job is to meet Ross Myles as he is taking A dog to Queensferry tonight and we also need to go to the vet at  Cashel.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER POTENT TOUCH AT SHEFFIELD LAST NIGHT.

Wednesday 6th October:

A cold morning but dry, we have supplies here from the UK so we are emptying them and packing them away. We have hounds going to UK with Ross Myles that are sold, we still haven’t got the 151 van back as we are waiting for parts. We have paper work to do and more parts to collect.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNER AT NEWCASTLE CONEY KRAKATOA AND SWIFT UNHALLOWED AND ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT POTENT TOUCH AT SHEFFIELD.

Thursday 7th October:

We are doing the journal on Thursday afternoon and we start with the brilliant news that Newcastle United looked like they have been sold. It’s been a wet day but the day has gone well. We needed supplies and trip to the vet in Cashel, we had hounds going to the UK that was sold with Pat O’Hare and that was a total mixed up with one of the hounds so big thanks to everybody who fitted in to get the problem sorted.

Friday 8th October:

Incredible is the news at Newcastle United as I never thought the take over would happen I went to watch Newcastle play at 7 years of age until I came to Ireland I hardly missed a game and we now will go places but will take time. I never slept with the news about Newcastle United and I left at 4.10 am to go to Killybegs for fish and I was back at lunch time. At the kennels we galloped and prepared more dogs for schooling as we do the journal we are getting hounds checked ready for Shelbourne Park on Monday.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT GEELO CONEY AND TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT ROMFORD MASSIVE EGO AND RAILS MCCOY.

Saturday 9th October:

Were doing Saturdays journal on Sunday afternoon as it has been a busy weekend but all has gone well. On Saturday we needed supplies, we took all our waste to the dump. It rained all day, we did a bit of galloping, we done preparation work with hounds for schooling. We just about got all the pups done with flea tablets, injections and nail cutting. The news gets more positive everyday about Newcastle United. I’ll update our open race runners later on tonight.

Sunday 10th October:

Its been a gorgeous day from first first thing this morning. We’ve tidied everywhere up. We had a problem with the drains which we fixed. We’ve done a major tidy. Padgie has taken the day off but will be back on Monday. We done all the lists for the coming week. Other than that its been a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let dogs out of kennels.
