WEEK STARTING MONDAY 4TH OF JULY

Monday 4th July:

We are doing the journal at 5.30 on Monday evening as we just back from Shelbourne Park. We needed loads of bits and pieces this morning at the Cash and Carry, we had the plumber out and the day has gone well and the new engine arrive for the 151 van so the van will be back on road by the weekend.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT NOTTINGHAM CHURCHILL JUKE

Tuesday 5th July:

We are doing the journal at 6 o’clock this evening as it’s been non stop today. I had to meet Michael Flynn with hounds that are sold going to the UK, we had broods to collect that have been mated from the Dunphy Stud, we needed bits and pieces from the vet, we had parts to collect for the 151 van. At the kennels we did a massive tidy up and we had loads of supplies to order and we also had to get all our waste away. We ran out of bagged dog food so I had to go to Red Mills to collect them.

Wednesday 6th July:

A nice day and the forecast is good for the week the main job today is preparing more hounds for schooling, we had delivery of bagged dog food from Gain and we have maintenance work to do.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT HARLOW SWIFT KETTLE AND SWIFT ACQUIT

Thursday 7th July:

We are doing Thursdays journal on Friday afternoon the weather is good and everything is going well the 151 van is back from the mechanic and everything is brand new, we needed meat, we are continue on preparing dogs for schooling and we also did maintenance work as well. Our dogs at Yarmouth are running well, Super Nova won a A1 last night in 27.90, Swift Love won a A1 this week in 27.77 and Swift Button also won a A1 in 27.83 and also last night Swift Melon won a A2 winning his last three races.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER SWIFT ACQUIT

Friday 8th July:

Another nice day, we got all our waste away the last of our bagged dog food came from Red Mills so we are fully stocked, we have been to get the service kit for 191 van. We are doing maintenance work and we also need a load of bits and pieces. A pup to watch out for is Ranches King was very impressive winning his first race this morning at Suffolk Downs coming from last to first.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT ROMFORD RAILS MCCOY

Saturday 9th July:

The weather is good. I had to go to the vets for passports. I also had to collect a whole lot of bits and pieces from the hardware. at the kennels the weather is too hot to hunt or gallop. The main job is making sure everything has water.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE  UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT RAILS MCCOY.

Sunday 10th July:

Its probably going to be the hottest day of the year. Both our vans are back on the road all repaired and serviced so hopefully we wont have anymore problems with them. We have broods to collect from Dunphys Stud, paperwork to do and were going to repair the roofs on the sheds in the garden paddocks.
