TUESDAY THE 4TH OF FEBRUARY

It was like a spring day on Tuesday , we continued on worming pups and trimming their nails . We had hounds that were sold to be delivered in Ireland and we also did maintenance work.

WEDNESDAY THE 5TH OF FEBRUARY

We needed more meat so that was the first job of the day , we had dog food arrive from time and we also had dry meat arrive . We continued on with the maintenance work and we started a swap around with saplings from the garden paddocks into kennels and out of the rearing paddocks into the garden paddocks

THURSDAY THE 6TH OF FEBRUARY

A composed and confident performance on Wednesday deservedly sent Newcastle United back to Wembley for the second time in three years, recording a third victory and clean sheet over the Gunners in just four months. The first job of the day was to collect chicken and tripe. We had to be fed up early as the main job of the day was trialing in Kilkenny and we swept the whole place.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS AT HOVE BURROWS TRIGGER , SWIFT JARVIS AND SWIFT KENZO. AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT BULLSEYE.

FRIDAY THE 7TH OF FEBRUARY

The first job on Friday morning was to collect fish. I’ve never had fish as good. Its herring delis and the dogs love it minced and raw. At the kennels we had John Nolan here earmarking pups and marking up saplings into their identity books. I also got all the waste away. It was cold and dry and the day went well.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT BULLSEYE. TONIGHT  WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT ROMFORD CHARILE KNOWS, SWIFT GIDDY AND WRIGHTY.

SATURDAY THE 8TH OF FEBRUARY

Last Sunday afternoon, I made a plan for the week. I though we would never get through the load of work I had planned out. As I do the journal on Saturday afternoon all the work got completed and the whole place got tidied up. Today I was at the Cash and Carry waiting for it to open. I collected sawdust, food for pups and service kits for the two vans. We had broods to take to Droopys stud to be mated. We prepared a load of hounds for schooling, tidied the whole place up and ever filled all the rodent boxes. Luckily it was cold and dry or we would never have gotten all the work done.
