MONDAY 3oTH OF OCTOBER
It was a bank holiday Monday in Southern Ireland, but it was a busy day at the kennels we prepared more hounds for schooling which took all day. We also finished the swapping around with pups , saplings and kennel dogs . On this weeks greyhound hound star British performance of the week we have two hounds on this weeks list Dubai kid at Monmore and his litter brother Wrighty at Yarmouth.
TUESDAY 31ST OF OCTOBER
The first job of the day was meat to collect I was back at 11.30am so the meat was packed away before we went to Shelbourne park for trails. Pagie had all the kennels done and all hounds fed before we left for Dublin the traffic was good going and coming back with no delays . Ross Myles took hounds that were sold to the UK to there new owners but he had a nightmare of a journey as the weather was bad and his first ferry was cancelled.

WEDNESDAY 1ST OF NOVEMBER
A day for tidying up my house the flat all the garages the yard and all the kennel plus we did all the maintenance work for the week. I day tripped the UK for breakfast cereal.
Thursday 2nd November:
We spent the whole day on Thursday preparing hounds for schooling. The weather was good and the day went well. We got our waste away to the dump. We needed Red Mills dog food so I had to collect that. We also needed food for pups.

Friday 3rd November:
I did my second trip of the week to England as we had ran out of paper bedding. At the kennels there was very little we could do as it rained all day. We got all of the hounds that are schooling checked. We cooked, cleaned and fed. We also cleaned the van.

Saturday 4th November:
We needed meat. It was another day where we prepared hounds for schooling. We changed every bed in every kennel and we also gave the yard a massive tidy. Newcastle United won a hard fought game against Arsenal.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT SUNDERLAND: SWIFT ICONIC. TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS. AT CRAYFORD: SWIFT QUINCEY. AT OXFORD: SWIFT QUARANTINE
Sunday 5th November:
It will be a typical Sunday where we tidy the website, do the paperwork, make all the lists and prepare for a busy week. Whatever happens I must get a bit of shopping for myself. We’ll also change the beds in the rearing paddocks.
