WEEK STARTING MONDAY 2ND NOVEMBER

Monday 2nd November:

We are getting rain and sunny spells, we put Paul Geahard pups on the drag hare and they went very well, we are trialling next in Shelbourne Park and we have a problem with the drains. I have been to the dump and have been to the supermarket to get food for pups. Newcastle United had a great win yesterday and all is going well at the kennels.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT CENTRAL PARK NORMANSLAND FLYER.

Tuesday 3rd November:

We are doing Tuesdays journal on Wednesdays afternoon. At the kennels we change the beds, hunted pups and packed away all the supplies. As normal there was tidy up to do, we cleaned freezer up and garage.

Wednesday 4th November:

It’s a cold morning and we had trip to the vet. We need supplies and also have few bits and pieces to repair work to do. At the kennels will be another day for feeding, cooking and cleaning and letting dogs out that are in the kennels.

Thursday 5th November:

Were doing Thursdays journal on Saturday morning as it was a hectic day. We took advantage of the good weather and we prepared hounds for schooling doing the last of their homework. We had supplies to collect and we also had a trip to the vets with a hound that had an operation for her aftercare. Everything is going well.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT AT PERRY BARR: DRAHBEG DASH AND SWIFT SINFULL.

Friday 6th November:

I day tripped to the UK delivering hounds and collecting supplies. At the kennels Padgie did a swap around with mothers and pups, saplings, and kenneled dogs. We injected young pups with their first injection, did their nails and wormed them. We did a tidy up and the day went well except for Newcastle United playing Southampton.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT AT ROMFORD: PIPAPIPAPOPS, BRITANNIA WILL, MASSIVE EGO, SWIFT TARQUIN AND SWIFT COPE.

Saturday 7th November:

Its another dry and cool day which is ideal for the main job of today galloping. We are getting all the hounds checked that are schooling and we also need supplies. The ferry was packed going to the UK and coming back and no traffic jams in the UK.

Sunday 8th November:

Its a wet morning and we have had heavy rain overnight. My head lad Padgie is sick with his sinuses. It will be a typical Sunday where we clean kennels, cook, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We wont get much more than that done other than washing the vans and we will prepare for another busy week.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS TONIGHT AT CENTRAL PARK: SWIFT ADDITION, FANTASTICAL, NORMANSLAND FLYER AND SWIFT LETTUCE.
