WEEK STARTING MONDAY 29TH OF MAY

MONDAY 29TH OF MAY:

A busy day like all Mondays and the weather has been good and the day has gone well we started early and we had all hounds fed early we needed meat and we also got a delivery from the UK of pasta which had to be packed away the main job of the day was trailing in Shelbourne park and the ground staff had the track well watered and well prepared and trails went fantastic.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNER TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM AUSSIE MCCOY AND HITTHELIDS MYLO

TUESDAY 30TH OF MAY

The hottest day of the year today . We had John OReilly checking the hounds that are schooling. We been to the vets to get a hound ear looked at as it was infected so course of antibiotics will put it right.  We got all the wasted to the dump as well. A pup to look our for is swift reassure she did 15.54 F.T.O D first kook Monmore  today 2st time in the traps sixteen mouth old .

ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT SHEFFIELD TONIGHT IN THE FINAL OF THE THREE STEPS VICTORY (CAT 1) SWIFT REGINA AND RANCHES ROGUE

Wednesday 31st May:

Were doing Wednesdays journal on Saturday morning. We have had a week of fantastic weather. I cant remember the last time we have had rain. We started early preparing hounds for schooling. We got a delivery of paper from the UK. We needed food for pups and we started washing the whole place ready for painting.

Thursday 1st June:

Were doing Thursdays journal on Saturday morning. We needed food for pups. We also needed meat and a whole lot of bits and pieces from the creamery and the hardware. The main job at the kennels was preparing hounds for schooling and galloping. We also had John O’Reilly here checking the hounds that are schooling.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT HOVE: SWIFT UKRAINE, SUFFOLK DOWNS, SWIFT NEWS, BLUE TICK QUEEN.

Friday 2nd June:

Were doing Fridays journal on Saturday morning. The forecast is for the hottest weekend of the year so it will be a constant job changing water and making sure no hounds are getting caught with the sun. Were worming young pups, cutting nails and doing a swap around, putting a new batch of pups in the rearing paddocks. We needed all our waste away. Were also doing maintenance work.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE EIGHT RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT ROMFORD: SWIFT DELILAH, OLD FORT MONACO, MONROSE KISS. AT OXFORD: SWIFT QUINCEY, DROHOBYCH LEADER, SWIFT TANIA, SWIFT TAMANNA, CEE CEE BAXTER. AT TOWCESTER: SUPA NOVA IN THE ENGLISH DERBY.

Saturday 3rd June:

Were continuing on worming young pups, cutting nails and doing a swap around. The oldest are going into the large concrete runs and the 6 week old are going into the big sheds with the concrete yards attached. Were continuing on with the power washing, giving the vans a major clean, doing paperwork and tidying the website.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT. AT ROMFORD: OLD FORT MONACO. AT OXFORD: SWIFT QUINCEY. WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT TOWCESTER: YOU TWO IN THE ENGLISH DERBY.

SUNDAY 4TH JUNE:

The weather is still fantastic, it was a typical Sunday we did paper work , tidy up the website cooked cleaned the kennels feed all the hound early as its to hot by lunch time.
