Monday 28th September:
No frost today but a small bit of rain. It looks like we have brood for a C section, we have a lot of tidy up to do, pups to inject the van needs a wash and we also need all our waste away and food for pups. Newcastle United got a point how I don’t know and we have a load of small jobs to do.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER AT TOWCESTER SWIFT ADDITION LAST NIGHT.
Tuesday 29th September:
We have been to the vets with the brood to have her C section mother and pup doing fantastic, we are going to gallop and continue with the tidy up. It’s a dry day so that helps.
ON OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS TONIGHT AT SHEFFIELD CONEY KUONI , SWIFT TAMAN, GEELO CONEY.
Wednesday 30th September:
We had heavy rain over night and it looks like we going to have rain again. The brood and the pup are doing fantastic who had a C section and everything is going well at the kennels. We have supplies coming today so we will packed them away and we have the last of the tidy up to do, foot dips to change and a whole load of small jobs to do.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT SHEFFIELD CONEY KOUNI.
Thursday 1st October:
A cold morning but dry, we need our waste away, food for pups and we will do swap around with young pups. We have supplies coming which will need packing away, we will probably do a tidy up change food dips and we have brood for mating. Newcastle United are in the Quarter Final of the League Cup after playing bad at Newport. I watched Swift Acquit win her race on RPTV last night she is typical of one of our hounds starting A6 and now won a A1 and have a rating of over a 100 on greyhound data.
Friday 2nd October:
I went for fish which is a days job. The roadworks are coming on well on the way to Killybegs. Hopefully the bypass will be finished by Christmas. At the kennels we galloped, continued on with the tidying up and prepared for all the maintenance work on Saturday.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TO NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM IN THE DERBY WE HAVE CHURCHILL HOLLY AND SWIFT LETTUCE. AT ROMFORD SWIFT ADDITION,PAPAPAPAPOPS AND PIPAPIPAPOPS.
Saturday 3rd October:
Its a cool and dry morning but it looks like rain. We have plenty to do today. Were getting the hounds checked that are going to be handslipped at Shelbourne on Monday. We have a day of maintenance work. Were packing the fish away that I collected yesterday. We need supplies and food for pups. Newcastle United play another bad team in the Premiership today Burnley. Lets hope we get a result.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD NO WINNERS LAST NIGHT BUT BOTH CHURCHILL HOLLY AND SWIFT LETTUCE QUALIFIED FOR THE LAST 48 IN THE ENGLISH DERBY AT NOTTINGHAM. TONIGHT WE HAVE SWIFT COPE IN THE ENGLISH DERBY AT NOTTINGHAM AND MEGAPOPS AT CRAYFORD.
Sunday 4th October:
Its a wet morning and winter is definitely here. Were going to wash the van and it will be a day for cleaning, cooking, feeding and letting hounds out that are in kennels. That will be as much as we can do today. We are up to date with the paperwork. We nearly got the maintenance work finished. We will also prepare for another busy week. Newcastle United won again and actually played well. We have seven points from four games and we have only lost once in six games in league and cup. We couldn’t have gotten off to a better start.
