WEEK STARTING MONDAY 21TH SEPTEMBER

Monday 21th September:

Another nice day and I think it’s the last of the good weather. I have been to Red Mills to collect stock and got lost in the fog the next job is trials at Shelbourne Park. We also got the waste to the landfill and we only be able to feed all the hounds, clean kennels, change the water and cook and that will be as much as we can do today.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS IN NOTTINGHAM CHURCHILL HOLLY AND SWIFT LETTUCE.

Tuesday 22th September:

Another nice dasAy as we do the journal our gain dog food has arrived so it will have to be packed away. We need supplies the last of the swapping around with pups, saplings and kennel dogs will get done today we have a bit of paper work to do and that will as much as we can do today.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS AT NOTTINGHAM LAST NIGHT CHURCHILL HOLLY AND SWIFT LETTUCE. WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT TOWCESTER: GEELO CONEY.

Wednesday 23th September:

We are doing Wednesdays journal on Friday morning. We went to the vets to get five dogs put right that had small problems which took all day. At the kennels the lads hunted and galloped hounds.

Thursday 24th September:

We are doing Thursdays journal on Friday morning. I day tripped England as we needed cereal and J cloth, I missed the ferry last night and had to get the 2.40am and it was packed and there was no cabins. At the kennels it rain all day so all the lads could do was feed, cook and clean and let dogs out that are in kennel.

Friday 25th September:

I got back this morning at 8.30am and had to meet Ross Miles as we have hounds that are sold going to the UK. We need our waste away, food for pups and fish so a very long day.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT AT ROMFORD FANTASTICAL, PAPAPAPAPOPS, SWIFT BISCUIT, SWIFT TARQUIN, MEGAPOPS.

Saturday 26th September:

Its a cold morning and we got the first frost of this Autumn. Its dry and I dont think we will get rain. We have plenty to do. We have the last of the maintenance work to do today and were going to continue on preparing our August 2019 saplings for schooling. We need supplies, we have a bit of paperwork to do and a whole lot of other bits and pieces. I have had a hectic couple of days and didnt get back until 9pm last night with the fish. Our order came from Red Mills late last night so we had that to pack away. We might also tidy the gardens up for the last time this year. If we get all of this done we will have had a good day.

Sunday 27th September:

Another cold frosty morning but its nice and dry with no chance of rain. It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let dogs out that are in kennels. With a bit of luck we will get the gutters cleaned and all the foot dips done. A brood had pups during the night thankfully everything went well. Mother and pups are doing fantastic. We have a busy week ahead of us so we will keep you updated each day.
