Tuesday 15th December:

A nice morning for December and just as well it’s dry. Our Gain dog food arrive along with O’Neills dog food so it all had to be packed away. We need all our waste away and I also had to meet Ross Miles as he is taking hounds to the UK that are sold. I watched RPTV last night Churchill Holy ran fantastic winning in fastest time of the night and now stays very strong. Swift Addition won the fastest time of the night in the Yarmouth track Championship and Swift Canary has now won four in the role and looks like a lady heading for the open race scene. Zoom Angel was very unlucky having her second race in a A2 first time under lights.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE WINNER CHURCHILL HOLY AND TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT SHEFIELD CONEY BOOM BOOM.

Wednesday 16th December:

A wet and windy morning and we had heavy rain over night so no galloping today as we need a repair job on the gallop. We will try to hunt few pups and we have the nails to cut and worm baby pups. We need supplies and we will do a bit of a tidy up. I see on the greyhound star the British Performance of the week we had two hounds on it Swift Sabbath and Geelo Coney. Newcastle United play tonight and a win will put us on 20 points before Christmas but i will be happy with a draw.

Thursday 17th December:

We are doing Thursdays journal on Friday morning. We did the last of the preparation work with fourteen September 2019 hounds ready for schooling next year to start on Monday the 4th of January next year. We needed food for pups and Churchill Holy mother Swift Causeway had 9 pups to out of range, mother and pups doing fantastic. Newcastle United luck run out against Leeds.

Friday 18th December:

We have had heavy rain for the last three days. we had the last five hounds to prepare for schooling and the last of our supplies have arrived till next year. The only things we need will be breakfast cereal and fish and food for pups from the supermarket and not like me we are quiet organize for the Christmas Holidays. We have hounds to go to the UK that are sold but the ferry are running miles of time owing to the bad weather.

Saturday 19th December:

We have supplies coming from the UK today. The dogs that are schooling will get checked by the vet today. We will do a swap around with hounds and whatever happens we will wash the vans. Newcastle United is on the TV at 8 pm and I’m hoping for 3 points. I will be channel hopping between RPTV and the match. We have paperwork to do and that will be as much as we can do today.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT AT HOVE CYNTHIAS GIFT AND BRITANNIA WILL.

Sunday 20th December:

Its a typical December morning cold and wet. Padgie is off today and it will be a typical Sunday where we cook, feed, clean and let dogs out of kennels. We wont get anything else done as there’s small pups to monitor. Were very well prepared for the Christmas holidays. I watched the Newcastle United game last night. We got a point and with the way they played I was delighted with a point. If anything happens to Wilson we will be in serious trouble. Were now on 18 points and it will be a miracle if we get anymore this year as we have Liverpool and Man City to play. About this time last year a friend of mine Ciaran Sweeney turned up with a pup in his hands (coursing breed) and the first greyhound he has ever had. He asked me to rear it for him. He grew into a big gorgeous lad and was a proper pet. I took him to the track one day and he definitely chased. He went off to a coursing trainer after that and Ciaran rang me last night on cloud nine as the pup is one day away from Clonmel. Best of luck to him today.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS TONIGHT. IN THE OAKS FINAL AT SWINDON: FANTASTICAL. AT CENTRAL PARK: SWIFT LOKI AND NORMANSLAND FLYER.
