FRIDAY 17TH JANUARY

Were doing Fridays journal on Saturday morning. It was a busy day but all went well. We got rid of most of our pallets. Were just about caught up with all of our paperwork and I’m not far off needing a secretary. We spent most of the day collecting supplies. At the kennels we did a massive repair job on the gallop and we continued on with the swapping around of pups, saplings and hounds from puppy sheds to paddocks and from paddocks to kennels.

ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT ROMFORD. TONIGHT COLLSWOOD HAWK,SWIFT TARQUIN AND SWIFT SABBATH.

SATURDAY 18TH JANUARY:

We got up to very heavy frost so there wont be any galloping, hunting or preparing dogs for schooling. We need supplies, all our waste away. We will continue on with the swapping of pups, saplings and kennel dogs. We will also start worming all hounds. Newcastle United play Chelsea at 5:30 and I would be happy with a point.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER AT ROMFORD SWIFT TARQUIN. TONIGHT WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT MONMORE: SWIFT LETTUCE, MEGAPOPS AND SWIFT CONQUEST.

SUNDAY 19TH JANUARY:

Another very cold morning with heavy frost so no hunting or galloping. We have plenty to do. We have a heap of work to do on the website, more dogs to name from our November and December 2018 litters, paperwork to catch up on, dogs to worm, nails to cut and we have beds to change in our second field. Newcastle United got a massive three points against Chelsea last night. We now need three wins and a couple of draws to be safe for another season which would put us on 40 points. If the wheels come off we would probably get away with 38 points which would be two wins and three draws or three wins and no draws. Were 7/1 with the bookies this morning to be relegated so we look certainties to be safe for another year. To be fair I wasn’t delighted with the appointment of Steve Bruce but hes doing a fantastic job and has a team that wants to play for him.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT CENTRAL PARK NORMANSLANDS FLYER.
