Monday 12th October:

It’s a dry morning but we had rain over night so Shelbourne Park will be spot on for our handslips which is the main jobs of the day. I have been to seek bagged milk and that will be a day for feeding and cleaning and tidy up.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT FANTASTICAL AT CENTRAL PARK.

Tuesday 13th October:

A nice morning for October and we have plenty to do we need fish a trip to the vets and loads of small jobs at the kennels. Everything is going well mother and pups and all the young pups that are just going to the rearing paddocks all look fantastic. There was no open racing last night but I thought Swift Addition went brilliant in A top A1 doing 27.68 plus 10 winning by nearly 5 lengths.

Wednesday 14th October:

We are doing Wednesdays journal on Thursdays morning as I was in hospital for test and all went well. At the kennels it was a dry day we hunted pups got our waste away collected food for pups from the supermarket loaded all our waste paper in to old van ready to go to the recycling centre on Thursday and did a bit of tidy up.

Thursday 15th October:

Another dry day the jobs for today is get paper bedding to the recycling centre we need to go to the Cash and Carry we have paper work to do we will do a bit more tidy up and probably hunted a few more pups.

Friday 16th October:

It looks like rain and lets hope it does not start till we get our galloping done which is the main job of today and will probably take 3 or 4 hours to do it. We need supplies we also need a trip to the Cash and Carry but I don’t think we will get it done so I will go Saturday or Monday.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT ROMFORD TONIGHT SWIFT ACQUIT, SWIFT TARQUIN, BRITANNIA WILL.

Saturday 17th October:

Its a gorgeous morning dry and mild. We have plenty to do. We have a drain blocked, we have beds to make for mothers and pups, we need all our foot dips changed, we need to fill up our rodent boxes and a trip to the dump. Newcastle United play Man United tonight so I will be channel hopping on the TV watching Newcastle and the greyhound derby. Lets hope we get results against Man Utd and in the derby. I was at the hospital for tests on Wednesday and I got very good news so all is going well.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT. IN THE QUARTER FINALS OF THE ENGLISH DERBY AT NOTTINGHAM WE HAVE SWIFT LUTTUCE AND CHURCHILL HOLLY. AT CRAYFORD IN THE KENT NATIONAL FINAL WE HAVE NORMANSLAND FLYER AND GRAVELTOP LEO. ALSO AT CRAYFORD MEGAPOPS.

Sunday 18th October:

It was a cold morning at 6am when we started. As we do the journal at 8:30 it now looks like rain. The main job of the day is getting all the hounds checked that are schooling. We have other small bits and pieces to do but other than that it will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let dogs out that are in kennels. I watched the Newcastle v Man Utd game and Newcastle were very poor. I thought several players didn’t turn up.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD NO WINNERS BUT CHURCHILL HOLLY QUALIFIED FOR THE LAST 12 OF THE DERBY. TONIGHT WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS. AT CENTRAL PARK: PIPAPIPAPOPS, FANTASTICAL AND SWIFT ADDITION.
