WEEK STARTING MONDAY 10TH OF OCTOBER

Monday 10th October:

We are doing Mondays journal on Tuesday morning the weather was good , we had all hounds fed before 12 o’clock as the main job of the day was trialing in Shelbourne Park, we needed food for pups a trip to the post office to post all the paper work off. I had to meet Jonathan Best as we had brood in season and she is off to the Dunphy stud, she either be mated to Broadstrand Bono or Pestana. The day went well but we were late back from Shelbourne owing to the traffic. On the Great racing at Yarmouth our hound won both of the A1 and we had four winners in total, two pups that trialed brilliant at Nottingham last night Swift Quantum and Swift Stetson.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO RUNNER AT NOTTINGHAM CHURCHILL HOLLY AND CHURCHILL BLAZE

Tuesday 11th October:

We starting a massive job of redoing the gallop, I have got friend here from England and they are helping out as well on the work, we need all our waste away a trip to the Cash and Carry plus loads of bits and pieces. We have updated the dog for sale page from Shelbourne Park and the weather is good.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM CHURCHILL HOLLY

Wednesday 12th October:

We are doing Wednesdays journal on Saturday morning as we had a very very busy week. On Wednesday we continued on repairing the gallop which took right away up to Thursday night thankfully it’s finished  and the next major job we have to do is repost the rearing paddock which we will start the last week of October or the first week in November but it has to be done before the end of the year.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT HARLOW SWIFT KETTLE

Thursday 13th October:

We are doing Thursdays journal on Saturday morning. Thursday was a day for doing a major tidy up which went well, we needed food for pups, we got all the hounds checked that are schooling and the day went well.

Friday 14th October:

We are doing Fridays journal on Saturday morning. Luckily I have Padgie my had lad and we had worked together for nearly 20 year and we never have a wrong word he is never late and also never sick I have to leave him in charge again as I had a day trip to England to get bedding which is very hard to get and all the work was done 100%

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD FOUR RUNNERS LAST NIGHT AT ROMFORD SLIDERS MCCOY, RANCHES KING, RAILS MCCOY AND SWIFT MELLOW

Saturday 15th October:

The weather has been bad and it’s been another very busy day as we needed meat, food for pups all our waste away, sawdust and plus when I came back I got surprise my house was clean and tidy. We will put open racers tomorrow morning.

Sunday 15th October:

Its a dry and cold morning. The plan for today is to change beds, do paperwork and watch Newcastle United play Man Utd. I think we’ll get a result. We’ll wash the vans. Were on top of all the work thank goodness.

A PUP WHO WON LAST NIGHT IN HIS FIRST RACE CALLED BLUEY BOY FORMALLY CALLED SWIFT VALENTINE LEFT ME ON 1ST SEPTEMBER AND HAD ONLY HAD A HANDFULL OF SCHOOLING. THE TRACK CRAFT HE SHOWED WAS INCREDIBLE FOR A PUP SO YOUNG AND SO LIGHTLY SCHOOLED.
