MONDAY 7TH OF AUGUST
A nice day and its a bank holiday in Southern Ireland today but no holiday for us as we are preparing hounds for schooling which will take all day to do. We have pups to give their first injection plus feed and clean all the kennels. On this week greyhound star British performance of the week we have one hound on this weeks list Swift Iconic.
TUESDAY 8TH OF AUGUST
A nice day again today, the main job is trialling in Shelbourne park so we will have to have all hounds fed and kennels done by lunch time. We have all the waste to go to the dump, all the paperwork to post off as well.
WEDNESDAY 9TH OF AUGUST
Were doing Wednesdays journal on Sunday morning. The first job on Wednesday was a trip to the doctors as I have an ear infection. At the kennels we levelled the sand runs out and a brood had pups. Everything went well and the weather was good.
THURSDAY 10TH OF AUGUST
Our weekly trip to the vets was the first job of the day. We needed to take all our waste away. We made boxes and beds for mothers and pups. We also changed beds in the kennels.

FRIDAY 11TH OF AUGUST
The first job in Friday was to collect meat. We had a delivery arrive from Red Mills. We did a major tidy up and we also needed food for pups.

SATURDAY 12TH OF AUGUST
I day tripped to England to collect breakfast cereal. I’ve never seen the ferry as busy with cars. At the kennels we did a bit of gardening, got all the hounds checked that are schooling, did a swap around with hounds and pups. Newcastle United got off to a dream start. Were definitely a force to be reckoned with in the Premiership. Man City away next Saturday so that will be a massive test.

SUNDAY 13TH AUGUST:
A typical Sunday where we tidy the website, do all the paperwork, prepare for a busy week, wash the vans and give everywhere a massive tidy.
