Monday 18th November:

Monday was a cold day and I day tripped England delivering hounds and organising supplies for the Christmas holidays. At the kennels it was early afternoon before the frost cleared up so it was a day for keeping hounds warm with nice big beds under them monitoring young pups and swapping hounds around from puppy runs to rearing paddocks and rearing paddocks to kennels. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD NO RUNNERS DUE TO KENNEL SICKNESS.

Tuesday 19th November:

It was a wet start to the day. We got our waste away, collected supplies, continued on with the swap around of pups and hounds, continued on with the big tidy up and I had a trip to the doctors to get my staples and stiches out after my operation, thankfully all the soreness and stomach trouble is behind me. As I do the journal im starting to feel really good again. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT SHEFFIELD SWIFT MONSOON.

Wednesday 21st November:

Not a bad morning for a November day and no frost. We have to meet ross miles as he is taking hounds to the uk, we are going to continue on with the big tidy up and could have it just about done by tonight which will leave us with the sand runs to level out then we are caught up. We need supplies as normal, we have our waste to go away and we will continue on with the swap around of hounds and pups. We have all our lists to make for schooling etc. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT AT HARLOW FROSTIES ALEX AND HAGGSWOOD RIVER.

Thursday 22nd November:

Its a wet morning but its mild enough and if we get a break in the rain it will be ideal for schooling which is the main job of the day. We have nearly 40 hounds to school so it will take the best part of the day to get them all trialled at newbridge. We have just about got the big tidy up done which will definitely be finished today. Everything is going well and we are getting on top of everything ready for the Christmas holidays. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER  LAST NIGHT AT HARLOW HAGGSWOOD RIVER. TONIGHT AT HOVE WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS SWIFT SABBATH AND SWIFT BULLET.

Friday 22nd November:

Its a mild morning for November, and there is loads to do. There is fish to collect which is a days job, there is pups to inject and  worm, there is red mills coming so that will have to be packed away and the sand runs to level out so a very busy day. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT HOVE SWIFT SABBATH.

Saturday 23rd November:

Its been a hectic day collecting supplies, getting rid of our waste and trying to let dog outside between the showers. We tried to gallop but owing to the weather it was impossible. I got a puncture with the new van but everything stops in Ireland at one o’clock on a Saturday and there was no spare. Thankfully I was the last customer at Portarlington Tyres and they fixed it for me.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT CRAYFORD SWIFT LIBBY AND RUMMY COUNTESS. AT MONMORE SWIFT FABIO.

Sunday 24th November:

Its been a quiet day as we have been short staffed, we cooked, cleaned, feed and let dogs out.
