WEEK STARTING 11TH NOVEMBER:

Monday 11th November:

We are doing Mondays journal on Tuesday morning. It was a hectic day and a very cold start with frost, we needed fish which was collected from killybegs which is four hours away so a full days job for one person, there was bits and pieces to collect at the cash n carry and the vets, we continued on with the massive tidy up and we got a puncture with the old van which took half a day to get that sorted. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD FOUR RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM WOKEEN, SWIFT LETTUCE, SWIFT FABIO AND SWIFT BISCUIT.

Tuesday 12th November:

Another cold dry day and no chance of rain. Its another day for collecting supplies, we have straw to bag and we will level our sand runs out. We will make all the lists for the work for this week and schooling, prepare the vat and do every other bit of paperwork. We have a load of other supplies I need to order so we will get that done as well and we will give the vans a clean as well. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM WOKEEN. TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT SHEFFIELD SWIFT ASPEN.

Wednesday 13th November:

A cold dry morning and no frost and a busy day ahead. We are going to prepare pups for schooling, collect wood to make boxes and beds for mothers who are due to pup, get rid of our waste and collect food from the supermarket for young pups. Today would of been andy Fairbairn birthday if he had still been here, a legend from home anybody who has been across to see me must of heard some of the stories about him. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT SHEFFIELD SWIFT ASPEN. TONIGHT WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT PETERBOROUGH SWIFT BULLET, SWIFT TARQUIN AND POINTLESS PRAISE.

Thursday 14th November:

We are doing the journal late on Thursday afternoon. The main job of the day was trialling at Newbridge which nearly took all day. We have been making boxes and beds for mothers to have there pups and done a bit of a tidy up. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER AT PETERBOROUGH SWIFT TARQUIN.

 

Friday 15th November:

Were doing Fridays journal on Sunday morning as it has been one of them weekends. We had to take a brood for an operation but thankfully everything was ok and she is recovering well. It was a day for collecting supplies and monitering broods that are due to have pups. It was very cold so we couldn’t gallop or hunt.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT ROMFORD SWIFT BISCUIT.

 

Saturday 16th November:

Were doing Saturdays journal on Sunday morning. We had all our waste to take away and we were making boxes and beds for bitches to have their pups. Swift Hazel was the first one to pup down. Mother and pups are doing fantastic. There was loads of bits and pieces to collect.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT PERRY BARR DRAHBEG DASH. AT CRAYFORD SWIFT LIBBY. AT MONMORE GILLYPOPS, MEGAPOPS AND SWIFT FABIO.

 

Sunday 17th November:

Its a cold, dry morning. The main job of the day is getting dogs checked that are schooling and doing general tidying everywhere. The mechanic is coming to do a small job in the old van. Other than that it will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean and feed.
