MONDAY THE 10TH OF AUGUST
A cool morning but the forecast is to get very hot again. We need food for pups bits and pieces from the hardware and like all Mondays supplies to order for the coming week plus the paper work will have to be posted off. We probably will get all our waste away and we will get the whole place a tidy.

TUESDAY THE 11TH OF AUGUST
The hot weather returns today but up to now as we do the journal its not to bad heat wise at 12 o clock lunch time. We have been to the vets at Cashel for two hounds to get their tonsils out and get supplies. We have the website to update of the trials and handslips from Kilkenny and I also have to go back to Cashel this afternoon to collect the two hounds that are at the vets and whatever happens I will have to post the paperwork off that was done on Sunday. Swift Kipper produced another success for Terry Munslow, a 14th success from her last 23 starts. That is a spectacular strike rate, with both the 480m and 500m distance coming alike for her. She has plenty of early boot and that saw her go around in front once more, and there appears to be no end in sight for her excellent run of form.

WEDNESDAY THE 12TH OF AUGUST
It is going to be red hot today. We have John Nolans here earmarking pups and marketing saplings into their identity books and he is doing every single hound we got so we are all caught up. We needed meat which had to be collected. All the waste is away to the dump again and we also need services kits for the vans.
THURSDAY THE 13TH OF AUGUST
Another red hot day but its got to cool down after today thank goodness. We need food for pups from the supermarket. We have a brood bitch to collect from droopys stud that’s had a false season. We had all the hounds checked that are schooling and we have done more swapping around with pups and saplings into rearing paddocks and kennels.

FRIDAY THE 14TH OF AUGUST
The weather has cooled down and we are having a bit of light rain thank goodness. We need fish so that will have to be collected. We have maintenance work to do and we have about one hour of hedge cutting to do so we will get that all done today. We also are going to continue on with the swapping around with pups and saplings into rearing paddocks and into kennels and we will be doing a tidy up in all garages around the yard.

SATURDAY THE 15TH OF AUGUST
A lot cooler and ideal for hounds and myself. We need meat so that had to be collected , We have wormed pups and trimming their nails. The football is back today and the premiership is back next Saturday. We had a delivery of time dog food. Tidied up the mess from the hedge cutting and we also have been to collect tripe and chicken.
