WEEK STARTING MONDAY 7TH OF FEBRUARY

Monday 7th February:

It’s been a busy day but all has gone well, it rain till about lunch time which makes the work harder I got all our waste away early this morning time the lads fed up. The main job today was trialing in Shelbourne Park which went well Dave Turner head grounds man Shelbourne Park rolled the track twice for us thanks very much Dave and we also needed food for pups from the supermarket.

Tuesday 8th February:

We are doing Tuesday journal on Thursday evening as has been a busy week, we needed a load of supplies, we hunted pups, changed beds, we did a small swap around with pups and the day went well.

Wednesday 9th February:

I went for fish to Killybegs and I went there and back in record time of 7,5 hours the new road before Sligo is a great help along with all improvements in Co.Donegal.

Thursday 10th February:

We finally got the photos done of our 2020 saplings ready to go on the Greyhound Data tomorrow morning, it took all day to do them and we also had John O’Reilly checking hounds that are schooling. We needed supplies and I have been to the vet tonight to get wormers expensive nuts for pups so I’m just back to do the journal at 6pm. We will put up all the race runners for the last three days probably on Sunday morning.

Friday 11th February:

Were doing Fridays journal on Sunday morning as its been a very busy weekend. We did the photos of our late 2020 saplings and finally got them put onto greyhound data. It took all day but thankfully we got through it. There’s a couple of bits and pieces to finish off on Monday. We needed supplies such as food for pups, a trip to the cash and carry and the 2019 van had to go for a test.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO RUNNERS AT ROMFORD: SWIFT COPE AND SWIFT RAISIN.

Saturday 12th February:

We got paper delivered from the UK early so that had to be packed away and we changed every bed in every kennel as well. The sales department was busy and a big thanks to everybody who bought a hound. The day went well.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER AT ROMFORD LAST NIGHT SWIFT RAISIN. TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS: NORMANSLAND FLYER AT CRAYFORD AND TIFFIELD TROJAN AT MONMORE.

Sunday 13th February:

Its going to be a busy day for a Sunday. We have done work on the website and the last little bit will get finished on Monday morning along with putting up the photos of Swift Goddess and Swift Fairy on greyhound data. We have paperwork to do and maintenance work. The main job for me today is watching Newcastle United at 2pm. The results have all gone right for us this weekend. If we can beat Villa were right out of trouble but theres also a long way to go. Another performance like the Everton one and we’ll get some kind of result.
