MONDAY THE 8TH OF DECEMBER
On Monday the first job was to collect fish. At the kennels we prepared for the storm , hunted and galloped pups and did maintenance work. We had a delivery from Red mills and O’Neill dog bag food .
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS YESTERDAY AT TOWCESTER TIFFIELD TARQUIN AND AT OXFORD SWIFT QUARTER.
TUESDAY THE 9TH OF DECEMBER
We got the storm but thankfully I got no damage the only problem we had the lane was blocked for a few hours as a tree has fallen down on the lane so we were blocked in. We got the waste away , collected meat along with food for pups and did more maintenance work.

WEDNESDAY THE 10TH OF DECEMBER
We took the photographs of the first lot of our September 2024 saplings so we will add them to greyhound data over the weekend. I went to the northern Ireland for factory meat. At the kennels we did more maintenance work and tidied up after the storm.
THURSDAY THE 11TH OF DECEMBER
The first job was to take Swift Vicki to the vets as she is having a problem with one of her eyes . We had to be fed up early for the main job of the the day trialing in Kilkenny . We had the electrician fixing lights in the flat and in the undercover letting out paddocks . We also had the plumber here as there was leaks on taps in the flat and the toilet. Newcastle united should of won last night in the Champion league but couldn’t hang on for the last few minutes in any games at the moment.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT DESPITE , SWIFT HOSTILE AND UNANIMOUS LEON.
FRIDAY THE 12TH OF DECEMBER
I spent the whole of Friday running around in circles. I went to Cuddys stud to collect brood bitches. There was a bad accident in Edenderry. What should have been a half hour journey ended up taking two hours. I got the wrong parts for the van so I had to change them. I went to Dealz to get disinfectant. I put photos of our 2024 saplings on to greyhound data. At the kennels we changed beds, did more maintenance work. Padraig Casey took the day off work to repair a gutter for us. Good neighbours and friends are unreplaceable. To make it better, he wouldnt take anything for doing it lol.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NEWCASTLE UNANIMOUS LEON . TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT DUNSTALL PARK SWIFT OILEAN AND AT ROMFORD CHADDY BOY.
SATURDAY THE 13TH OF DECEMBER
Its been a busy day. We had meat to collect. We had supplies to collect from the hardware, we had a trip to the cash and carry. We also had to bring more bitches to Richard Cuddy for mating. At the kennels we hunted hounds.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK AND IRELAND WE HAVE EIGHT RUNNERS AT CENTRAL PARK DEVONSHIRE LAD , EARLS RUBY , SWIFT PRESTON, HOLLYBANKS AND MARTINDALE LAD. AT HOVE SWIFT MEGAN , AT SHELBOURNE PARK HARLEQUIN GEE UP AND AT CORK CURIOUS CALLIE.
SUNDAY THE 14TH OF DECEMBER
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will also get caught up with the paperwork. The most important job on Sunday is Newcastle play Sunderland in a derby match at 2pm so I’ll be watching. I think we’ll win easy. Come on the Mags.
