MONDAY THE 21st SEPTEMBER
A nice morning not to hot not to cool an ideal day for trialing in Kilkenny. We needed food for pups from the supermarket , bits and pieces from the hardware. We are taking the photographs of our June 2025 saplings and we are going to add them to greyhound data. We have a bit of maintenance work to do and the paperwork to post off as well.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IB THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT KIPPER.
TUESDAY THE 22ND OF SEPTEMBER
The weather has been good the last few days which always helps with the work. I had to day trip England on Tuesday with hounds that were sold and I collected paper bedding as we have ran out. We got all our waste away and our spare tyres that were punctured finally got fixed and we also had to collect meat and chicken. We also hunted and galloped pups.
WEDNESDAY THE 23RD OF SEPTEMBER
We had cooked bones to collect. I have been to the vets to get a hounds tonsils out and the whole day will be took up with preparing hounds for schooling and with a little bit of luck we will get the vans washed this afternoon.
THURSDAY THE 24TH OF SEPTEMBER
Another dry day and a little bit cooler. We need red mills so I will have to collect it. We have a bit of space with dogs so we are going to start a major swapping around , change the beds in the houses in the garden paddocks , the fences needs a bit of work and the sand needs leveling out as well in the garden paddocks and we also have muzzles to collect.

Friday 25th September:
The weather has been good and dry. The meat in Southern Ireland has never been as short. My first job on Friday was to drive to Northern Ireland to get enough beef, tripe and chicken to keep us going. We also had to collect Red Mills. At the kennels the whole day was spent preparing more hounds for schooling. There’s no premier league football this weekend and it looks like Man City are in the height of trouble.

Saturday 26th September:
I went to Cavan for meat today. What I came back with was good quality but a small amount as its on ration. We got all our waste away. The morning was spent preparing more hounds for schooling. Our order arrived from Kasco. We also collected food for pups.
