MONDAY THE 19TH OF MAY
The weather has been good all week expect on Wednesday we had a few spots of rain. The first job on Monday was to collect chicken , tripe and beef. We got al the waste away. At the kennels we finally got all the swapping around done with pups , saplings and kennel dogs.
TUESDAY THE 20TH OF MAY
We needed more meat which had to be collected. We needed food for pups. We did a bit of a tidy up around the yard and ordered all the supplies we needed for the week. We had broods have pups and we also had pups and saplings to worm , trim their nails and give them a flee tablet.
WEDNESDAY THE 21ST OF MAY
I did the weekly run to the vets. Went to cash and carry and to the hardware store for all the bits and pieces we needed for maintenance work which is another never ending job . We got a delivery of bag dog food so the garage had to be tidied up . We checked the broods to see if their were season. We changed the beds in all the kennels and the day went well and to top a good days off we had the 202 van serviced.
THURSDAY THE 22ND OF MAY
We had to be fed up early as the main job of the day was trialing in Kilkenny. I was back at the hardware getting ply wood to make boxes and beds for mother and pups. I had to go to dealz to get disinfectant as cash and carry had none this week. I has a contractor here cleaning the moss of my house and kennels roofs , they cleaned all my windows as well and did the gutters and i would highly recommend this company.

FRIDAY THE 23RD OF MAY
The first job was to collect meat as its gone very short owing to the weather. I also got all the waste away. At the kennels we had John Nolan here earmarking pups and marking up dogs into their identification books which took all day. The sales department has been busy so thanks to everybody who bought a hound. We did a tidy up as well and were monitoring broods that are due to pup this weekend.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT HOVE SWIFT JARVIS. TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT ROMFORD SWIFT DEPOT.
SATURDAY THE 24TH OF MAY
We are re-fencing the rearing paddocks so the first job today will be to collect 200 posts. As we do the journal at 9am we have two broods having pups. Everything up to now is going well. We have visitors coming. As normal we will need bits and pieces and we will also do a tidy up. It looks like we will get some rain which is badly needed for the rearing paddocks.

SUNDAY THE 25TH OF MAY
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. Eddie Howe’s side conclude their Premier League season on Today by hosting the Toffees at SJP in a 4pm kick-off. With a top five position required for Champions League qualification, Newcastle sit fourth, one of three sides on 66 points but with a superior goal difference to the other.
