WEEK STARTING MONDAY 6TH OF DECEMBER

Monday 6th December:

We are doing the journal at 11.30am and we are in the middle of the storm I have already been to collect supplies, we got our waste away and the next job is to get ready for Shelbourne Park for trials which is the main job today. On the Greyhound Star Performance of the week we have one hound on it Normansland Flyer at Central Park.

ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNER NORMANSLAND FLYER AT CENTRAL PARK AND PAPAPAPAPAPOPS AT SWINDON

TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM WE HAVE ONE RUNER CHURHILL BLAZE.

Tuesday 7th December:

A very wet and windy morning as we do a journal at 11 o’clock it’s all dried up and the wind has dropped. Finally our pasta has arrived from UK and to get it here took nearly a 100 emails and probably 200 phone calls bringing anything from England now is a nightmare. At the kennels it will be a day for feeding up cooking and cleaning.

Wednesday 8th December:

We had another night of heavy rain and wind, there is damage in the rearing paddocks which we are now fixing and will take all day. We need supplies and all we will be able to do is cook, clean and feed up.

Thursday 9th December:

We are doing the journal at 3pm in the afternoon as is been a busy day collecting supplies a trip to the vets and tidying up after the storm. We had a brood mated as well and we had a lot of bits and pieces of paper work to do.

Friday 10th December:

A nice dry morning but cold, we need our waste away, we need food for pups from supermarket, we need a service kit for one of the vans, we need wormers from the vets and I will try to go for fish. At the kennels we need boxes and beds for mother and pups, we also have to do a swap around with pups and saplings and a tidy up and that will be as much as we can do today.

Saturday 11th December:

Were doing Saturdays journal on Sunday morning. I took the day off except for collecting muzzles and taking the van to the mechanic to get serviced. At the kennels there wasnt much we could do other cook, clean, feed and prepare for another busy week.

Sunday 12th December:

Its a cold, dry morning but it looks like we may get rain later. It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean and feed. We might tidy the garage, get caught up on paperwork, set up my new computer, wash the vans and watch Newcastle United on the TV this afternoon. If we can win we are right back among the mix of the relegation teams as all the bottom teams got beat yesterday.
