Thursday 8th September:

Were doing Thursdays journal on Sunday morning. I day tripped to the UK on Thursday to collect supplies. The customs are becoming a bigger nightmare each time I travel. Lord help anybody who does anything wrong as they are now going through everything with a small tooth comb. At the kennels we got hounds that are schooling checked. We hunted a few pups. The day went well.

Friday 9th September:

Were doing Fridays journal on Sunday morning. We needed our waste away, we also needed meat which is becoming impossible to get, food for pups and a lot of other bits and pieces. At the kennels we continued on worming hounds and we hunted a few pups.

Saturday 10th September:

Saturday was a day like never before. We had paper arrive from the UK which had to be emptied and packed away. We had a brood having pups and she had to go for a c section to O’Connors vets in Cashel. We needed parts for the 2015 van so I can get it sold. We needed timber to make floors for cages. The freezer broke down but thankfully we got it fixed straight away. The truck that was supposed to bring our food from Red Mills never arrived as he also broke down. I was pleased to see the end of the day.

Sunday 11th September:

The electricity is off owing to essential maintenance work. Were well organised and well get through the day without a problem as we were pre warned. We have a mountain of paperwork to do. We will have to put the VAT together. We have to keep an eye on broods with pups as we have no heating on. We will prepare for a busy week. Racing returns in the UK  so later today or in the morning we will put our open race runners on.
