WEEK STARTING MONDAY 31TH OF MAY

Monday 31th May:

The good weather is here for the week and I know it is a bank holiday in the UK but it’s just a normal working day in Southern Ireland our bank holiday is next Monday. The main job of today is handsliping in Shelbourne Park and we will have to ask Dave to do the track with water and plate it again before we start. At the kennels the tidy up and stone picking will get finished today as normal we need load of supplies which we will have to get before we go to Dublin.

Tuesday 1st June:

Another nice day and plenty to do as normal a load bits and pieces needed, we need our waste away. At the kennels there is one paddock left to stone pick and the strimmer broke down so we didn’t get the big tidy up finished. Our two hounds that had the operation are doing brilliant. On the Greyhound Star Performance of the week we have Potent Touch from Newcastle.

Wednesday 2nd June:

We are doing Wednesday journal on Friday morning, we had John Nolan here earmarking pups and marking saplings up in to their books. We needed our waste away, food for pups and we hunted a few hounds and the day went well I left for the UK to get supplies.
