Monday 2nd March:
A bright dry morning but very cold, the main job of today is schooling at Shelbourne Park, changing more beds and getting hounds ready to go to the UK and Denmark that are sold we will continue tidy up.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT NOTHINGHAM SWIFT FERDIA, SWIFT CONQUEST, HAGGSWOOD RIVER.
Tuesday 3rd March:
A nice dry day but cold, as normal we need supplies and also have a few bits and pieces of repair work to do. At the kennels We will cook, clean, feed and let dogs out that are in kennels and we will get ready for another busy day.
Wednesday 4th March:
A bright dry day but cold, we have been to DSV haulage to collect our pasta we now have ten pallets, I’ve also been to meet Ross Miles with hounds going to the UK that are sold. We need bagged milk so I have to go for a 100 bags, we need all our waste away to the dump. At the kennels we are changing beds and packing away all of the supplies. In the FA Cup Newcastle United are in the quarter finals unbelievable fair play to Steve Bruce he said he would give the FA Cup a go and he has.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT HARLOW SWIFT ZANETA.
Thursday 5th March:
It’s a foggy morning dry and cold, we’ve been to the vets as swift louis had to have a c section to have her pups, mother and pups doing fantastic. We have hounds going to Denmark with Ian Waterworth so we have to meet him in Cashel, we need supplies from the vets, parts for the van, paper work from Michael Dunnes. At the kennels we will gallop few hounds and start the biggest tidy up ever.
FRIDAY 6TH MARCH
We had a bit of rain this morning but as we do the journal at 9.30am it’s dry. The plan is today to empty the van with fish as I went late for it yesterday. I have the Coney dogs to get marked up at Newbridge as they going to Dean and the boys next week to start racing at Sheffield. Will continue on with the big tidy up, we got the front yard and back yard tidied yesterday, we will start the road in front of the rearing paddocks, we need supplies and we might gallop a few dogs.

Saturday 7th March:
Its a dry morning and not too cold. Summer could be on its way. We have loads to do today. We have photos of our November and December 2018 hounds to take and put on to greyhound data. We have to tidy up the website, the Vat to do and more hounds to name. At the kennels we probably have a days work left tidying the roadway in front of the rearing paddocks. We are going to prepare the next lot of hounds for schooling at Shelbourne Park next week. As normal there is bits and pieces to collect. In the football Newcastle have a massive game against Southampton. A point would be a super result. if we win were in touching distance of safety for another year.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT AT ROMFORD SWIFT SABBATH AND SWIFT TARQUIN. TONIGHT WE HAVE SIX RUNNERS. AT SHEFFIELD: CONEY KRAKATOA, CONEY KUONI AND CONEY BOOM BOOM. AT MONMORE FANTASTICAL, SWIFT LETTUCE AND MORPETH LAD.
Sunday 8th March:
A nice dry morning Summer could be on its way. It will be a typical Sunday at the kennels where we cook, feed, clean and let dogs out. We will prepare everything for a busy week. Newcastle United got a massive three points yesterday. Were probably one win off safety even if we only get three more draws against West Ham, Aston Villa and Brighton who we have to play we will be safe for another season.
