WEEK STARTING MONDAY 17TH OF MAY

Monday 17th May:

We are doing Mondays journal on Tuesday morning as yesterday was non stop, the main job was trialling in Shelbourne Park and the day went well. We did a tidy up and got organized for a busy week and we had heavy rain on and off all day.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD FIVE RUNNERS CONEY WONDERLAND, CONEY KUCCINI, SWIFT CANARY AND HAGGSWOOD RIVER AT NOTTINGHAM AND AT YARMOUTH MASSIVE EGO.

Tuesday 18th May:

It looks like rain but it has not started yet the main jobs today is collecting supplies, getting pups ready for schooling and doing a tidy up.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM CONEY WONDERLAND IN FASTEST TIME OF THE YEAR TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT TOWCESTER SWIFT COPE.

Wednesday 19th May:

A nice morning after couple of days of very heavy rain. We need fish which is a 9 or 10 hours of driving the good news is the mackerel and salmon is the best we ever had it’s expensive but brilliant, we also need food for pups from supermarket. At the kennels we will hunt and gallop and inject pups with their first injection.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT GUARD AND POTENT TOUCH.

Thursday 20th May:

A wet morning and we must have gone mad, we are cutting the grass in the rain in the rearing paddocks with a neighbour top of the range ride on lawn mower it’s from Germany and it cost 70,000 Euros so he is driving the machine him self what a machine and what a job its is doing. We are also changing the beds in the houses at the top of the field in the rearing paddocks. We have emptied the van with fish and Padgie is hunting pups, we have dump to go to as well so busy day.

Friday 21st May:

Were doing Fridays journal on Saturday morning as yesterday was non stop collecting supplies, tidying up and the rain never stopped so it made the work difficult. We also hunted a few pups.

Saturday 22nd May:

The rain has finally stopped and its a bright blue sky. As we do the journal at 7:30 am we have already started hunting pups. Were going to gallop and do the final preparation work getting dogs ready for schooling. We have supplies to collect such as food for pups and we have to take our waste to the dump. All going well we will wash the vans. Its the final day of the Premiership tomorrow. Thankfully Newcastle United have nothing to play for. If they win against Fulham today you would have been safe with 29 points. Great to see the fans back as it makes it better to watch.

Sunday 23rd May:

The rain is back and as we do the journal at 7am its an overcast morning. Padgie my head lad is off today and it will be a typical Sunday at the kennels where we cook, clean and feed. If I’m lucky we will wash one van. I got my days mixed up yesterday so today is the last day of the Premiership. Our nearest rivals Sunderland will never get out of division one after failing to qualify for the play off finals. Ill prepare for another busy week, watch the football and that will be as much as we can do today.
