WEEK STARTING MONDAY 10TH FEBRUARY

Monday 10th February:

Were doing Mondays journal on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully we wont have any problems to face with the storm. Everything going well we will get the hounds checked that are schooling. I also need a trip to the vets. We have supplies to collect. We will have to do a major tidy up. On a personal note its four year today since I lost my late mother.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT NOTTINGHAM NIDDERDALE LARK.

Tuesday 11th February:

We had snow, rain and heavy wind all morning. At the kennels it will be a day for feeding, cleaning and letting dogs out that are in the kennels. We need our waste away and we need parts for the old van and a hole lot more bits and pieces. We need trip to the vets to get passports for dogs going to the UK.

Wednesday 12th February:

A very cold morning with frost and snow. We had supplies arrived from the UK so we have packed them away. The sun is now shinning at 9.30am so will be another day for feeding, cooking and cleaning and letting dogs out that are in the kennels.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS AT HARLOW SWIFT WHIFF,POINTLESS PHAISE,HAGGSWOOD RIVER AND GREENEND NANCY.

Thursday 13th February:

A nice morning and a great day for trialing for February which is the main job of today. We changing beds in the brood bitches kennels and we will do little bit of paper work.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT AT HARLOW POINTLESS PHAISE AND GREENEND NANCY.

Friday 14th February:

It’s a cold and wet morning. The plans today are as usual cook, clean, feed and let hounds in and out. As normal we have supplies to collect, we need all our waste away to the dump and we will do a tidy up around the yard today. All has gone well for the week.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS AT SUNDERLAND SWIFT GUARD AND AT ROMFORD COLLSWOOD HAWK, JILLYPOPS, MEGAPOPS, SWIFT SABBATH

Saturday 15th February:

Saturday was a day with rain like we’ve never seen before. I went to collect supplies. When I came back it was like a river flowing out on my entrance which made letting dogs out hard. We couldn’t do much more than cook, clean, feed and let dogs out.

ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE NINE RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT HOVE: SEASONS TORNADO, SWIFT JAGUAR AND DRAHBEG DASH. AT MONMORE  SWIFT LETTUCE AND FANTASTICAL . AT CRAYFORD SWIFT TARQUIN. AT SHEFFIELD CONEY BOOM BOOM, INCA CONEY AND CONEY KRATOA.

Sunday 16th February:

It has been another stormy night but as we do the journal at 9am in the morning its calm and dry again. Were going to get dogs that are schooling checked by the vet, do a tidy up after the storm, prepare for a busy week, wash the vans, do the paperwork and we might even gallop a few dogs. Newcastle United play Arsenal which is on the TV so I will watch that. I would be delighted with one point.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THW UK WE HAD THREE WINNERS: AT MONMORE SWIFT LETTUCE. AT HOVE SEASONS TORNADO. AT SHEFFIELD INCA CONEY. TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT CENTRAL PARK NORMANSLAND FLYER.
